"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm not your fated mate, Madison?" tanong ko sa babaeng bigla na lamang pumasok sa office ko habang nasa kalagitnaan ako ng meeting via video call. I had to excuse myself because of her.

"We've been dating since high school until now and why won't you acknowledge me as your mate?" galit niyang sabi.

I heave a sigh.

"Look, we dated only because you wanted s*x with me and it goes the same for me. You know I have Jade with me and he's my fated mate, my fiance. Napahinto sa pagkain ang dalawa at tumingin sa akin.

Nagkatinginan ang dalawa at parehong nabigla.
