CHAPTER 13

Chapter 13

Adrian’s POV

Two hours later Adrian pulled up in the yard and was dropped off. I hugged him tightly and cried into his shoulder I told him I was so sorry that I had allowed that to happen he said, “Destiny it's not your fault you did not allow it to happen it just happened”.

We went in the house, and he explained to me what happened. He said that when I teleported that six more cars drove up and 20 men got out to help our side that made twenty-six men to the enemies 20 so we quickly put them down we kept two alive for questioning and they were being tortured and questioned as we spoke. I didn’t understand why I was being kidnapped I thought we had taken care of the whole rogue issue he said they were not rogues that they were pack wolves from another pack. That we would find out more tomorrow but right now the survivors were being questioned so I took a long hot shower and went to bed. The next morning, I got up but I did not feel like going to work I was scared and felt alone. I felt like I was putting people in danger by being around them. Adrian tried to comfort me but I could not be comforted. I was a worried that they would try to take me again, so Adrian called the alpha and had him come to our house to talk with me.

When alpha Roman came to the house, he explained that the two men had been tortured all night and that he had used the truth candle on them he said they were hired by someone in Arizona to get to diamond and Destiny by any means necessary therefore he recommended that Destiny stay home with guards for the interim because the pack lands were very well guarded. That day Adrian and destiny didn’t leave the house they stayed home all day and played cards and watched Netflix. Damien still ran patrols as he worked on pack lands.

Destiny’s POV

After a week of sitting at home with guards around the house I began to feel a little bit like a prisoner myself I decided to start going to work even if I had to go with guards so I went into the office to which alpha Roman was very upset with me and told me to go home but I told him I was dying of boredom so we made arrangements for me to work from home. It did not satisfy me, and I continued to work at the office against his will. As we went down to lunch at the cafeteria, we were attacked a third time just outside the office building this time. But they didn’t get me because there were so many people on my side protecting me, I don’t know what I’m going to do but I have to do something I decided to let myself become kidnapped. I couldn’t tell anyone because they were not going to allow it but if I could become kidnapped, I could find out who was behind this and maybe be able to take care of it so I walked out of the building when no one was watching and was immediately attacked and taken. We drove for several hours and got on a plane when we finally arrived, I was in desert country. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea since I was pregnant. They drove me another couple hours, then took me into a dungeon area where they told me that I would be sold to the highest bidder. There were several other women in this area they were all crying and upset. I asked them what kind of wolves they had, and they all had just normal wolves and one or two gifts, so I knew that if they were going to escape, I was going to have to help them. I was in the cell for several days when the group of leaders came in, they wanted to see what my gifts were but I refused to show them, so I was beaten it was terrible. They were careful not to harm the pregnancy as that made me more valuable, but I was tortured with fine cuts. Finally, I told them that I could see things like where people were and stuff like that that I could find mates and my other gift was teleportation. They didn’t give me wolfsbane because of the pregnancy. But I told them the teleportation didn’t work while I was pregnant.

The other women had different gifts there was one girl you could control the elements and one girl who could tell if you were lying I could do this as well but I didn’t tell them some of the guards tried to r**e us however we were protected for the most part because we were merchandise there seemed to be only eight men in charge but there were about fifteen guards that worked three shifts, so five guards at a time. The guards were for the most part human. I knew I would have to buy my time until I could get out. I watched the guards change shifts, I watched when the food was being delivered and I especially watched when the people in charge showed up. One night the people in charge came and took away the girl that could control the elements. we never saw her again. I asked the other girls how often new girls came and they told me I was the first new girl in over a year so I knew that if I could get these girls out and kill all of the people then we would be OK. I missed my pack. I just bided my time until I could get out. They seemed to come together at least once a week to check on us.

We were not underground because I could see the sky through the bars on the windows, which were not covered in glass just in mesh. This was because we were in a desert, and it was hot all day and cold at night. I wish I could turn into diamond so that I could be warm at night. They weren’t giving me wolfsbane because pregnant wolves can’t shift. They gave us quilts to cover up with during the night and in the day, we just had to try to cool off as best we could. We got water in a bowl like a dog, and they put collars on us like a pet. They tried to degrade us and to break us but I would not be broken the other girls who had been there longer seemed to be breaking their spirits, but I started uplifting them telling them things that they could do when we got out. One day one of the guards came and gave me a note he wanted to have s*x with me, but he wanted me agreeable to it. I ripped it up in front of his face I would never ever have s*x with anyone except Damian. I think I’ve been here a year, but it could have only been less than a month’s time because I haven’t given birth yet. Time just kind of runs into itself. I know that I’ve felt ready to break out. I have the schedule memorized and I plan on getting out soon.

My escape was rushed when three men came downstairs with a hot iron. They said it was a new policy to brand merchandise so it could easily be identified. The girls started crying but I was ready for them. They came to me first thankfully, otherwise I would have had to abandoned the other five girls. They got me backed into a corner and I teleported behind the guy on the right and ripped his throat out before they could do anything. I moved to the opposite corner, and they were more careful this time but still came at me. I played cat and mouse for a few moments until they let their guard down then I teleported directly behind the guy without the iron and ripped his throat out. That left me with just the branding man. He began to parry me as he worked himself to the door. I knew there were only five human guards on duty, and I had just killed two of them. I didn’t want him getting loose and bringing in more guards. I used my kickboxing and mixed martial arts to disarm him then teleported myself on top of him. We both fell and it hurt like a f*cker. My water broke and he thought I peed on him hehehe. I snapped his neck. I took his keys and let the other girls out. I asked if any had self defense training. Two of them did, so I put them in front of me as my contractions had started and the other three behind me. I had them all touch my shoulder and think of outside. We were instantly outside the compound. I asked one of them for a piggyback ride in wolf form because I couldn’t shift and had them go east. It probably looked pretty freaky with five wolves and a pregnant woman running flat out in the desert, but there we were. Twenty minutes later we were in the outskirts of phoenix Arizona at a Walmart calling our alphas except for two girls who had been sold by their alpha. I promised them a place in my pack. I called Damien who called an uber to take us all to the hospital so we wouldn’t be split up. Two of the girls were from packs in Arizona so they were picked up fairly quickly, one was from New Mexico and she went next. The other two girls stayed by my side while I was in labor guarding me from any unknowns. My labor went for five hours before Damien and alpha Roman showed up. My contractions were five minutes apart. I introduced them to the two new girls. Becky who could read minds and Sandra who was a healer. Alpha Roman said they would be welcomed into our pack. The next four hours were spent cussing and breathing into huff huff blow lessons.

Finally, it was time to start pushing. This was the hardest part. I thought the contractions were bad, but they were nothing to the stretching pressure of pushing a baby out. Damien was right there crying like a baby as I pushed his son out of the womb. He cut the cord and said hello Michael, daddy loves you. I had a thirty-minute reprieve before pain started again. I was so tired I didn’t think I could push little Michelle out. I strained and strained with each contraction. For such a tiny bundle of joy she sure was difficult to get out. I finally finished though with one giant contraction. Damien cut her cord and they rushed her to get cleaned up. I cried and cried. I didn’t think you would see them born I cried. Damien was hugging me while holding Michael and said I didn’t either. I have missed you so much. The doctors had him go see to Michelle while they cleaned me up and moved me to a suite. I told him I wanted out as soon as possible because we were so near the kidnapper’s compound. The doctor said I could go home in the morning. Damien, Roman, Becky and Sandra all stayed in my room guarding the babies and me. That night we ordered pizza and sodas for all, eating and celebrating life and liberty. The next day alpha roman told me he had contacted the elders with the coordinates I had given him and they had shut down the facility killed the perpetrators and bombed the site to keep it from being used again. I left the hospital feeling safe for the first time in a long time. I was going home.
