CHAPTER 11 Arriving at work the next morning, an officer from a neighboring precinct was there and asked. “we have had a three year old girl kidnapped in human city and can not find her anywhere, the parents don’t have the money to pay the ransom and everyone is afraid she would be killed. We were hoping you could help us find her. “I could try.” Destiny said “I need something of hers to touch.” The officer pulled a teddy bear out of his jacket pocket. It was in an evidence bag. I took the teddy bear and sniffed it holding it to my chest and closing my eyes. “I can’t tell you where she is, but I can go there by teleportation.” “Would you take me.?” The officer asked. “I can try but I have never teleported another person. Hold my hands and think of the little girl”. With that we disappeared from the precinct and reappeared in a bedroom with a sleeping child. “Can you tell if anyone is in the house?” the officer asked. “Two people in the living room.” I whispered. He told me to get down and if anything happened to take the child and leave. He left the bedroom and quietly entered the living room. Shots were fired and the child woke up crying. I grabbed her and told her “Think about momma baby think about momma.” And we were on a sidewalk just outside a little yellow home. News reporters were there, and the parents were making a plea to the news for the return of their daughter. When the mother looked over and saw me holding her daughter. She screamed for her baby and all of a sudden she was ripped from my arms and I was on the ground getting arrested for kidnapping. I was trying to explain but the mother was hitting me and cussing and the cops were putting me in a car. I was taken to a police station and fingerprinted and arrested. I was put in a room with two detectives and interrogated for hours. I tried to tell them I was a detective from a neighboring precinct, helping to find the girl and that a detective was working with me but I couldn’t remember if he gave me his name or not. Then they asked where I got the girl from, but I could only describe the bedroom she was in. Finally, I asked for my phone call and a lawyer. I called my chief and told him what was going on. He promised to come get me but I didn’t know where I was or which station I was at. At long last the cops left the room and I teleported back to the precinct, but he was mad at me for not handling it the human’s way and sent me back. I was so nervous I cried. Finally, about midnight the detective I helped came in and apologized for the misunderstanding and let me go. I was about three hours away from home so I just told him I would go back my own way and went into the restroom to teleport home. When I got home, I was so upset I cried myself to sleep. Damien tried to encourage me that I found the girl and it all worked out, but it wasn’t enough. I had been assaulted arrested interrogated and manhandled. It took four sardine and mustard sandwiches before I slowed down eating and crying. Adrian made me a hot bath and told me I could call in tomorrow and destress. I still didn’t Damien got home. I made fettuccine alfredo for dinner with bread sticks and a side of mustard sardines for me. I was still exhausted and fell asleep snuggled into Damien’s side. The detective came by the next day that I was at work and apologized for my treatment by his precinct. He introduced himself as Charles Buth and thanked me for finding the girl. I accepted his apology and we left on good terms. I opened a box of cold cases and started rifling through them for live victims. I always gave priority to live files because they had the most pressing need to be found. I came across another pseudo adoption case. A baby had been torn from the mothers stomach two years prior. It was not known the gender of the baby and she was a single mother who died during the assault, but the grandparents were alive and wanted the child back if it was alive. I found the mothers bloody shirt in evidence and that was all I needed. I told the chief where to find the boy and they would need a DNA test to prove paternity through the grandparents. My first case took all morning as I had to find the mother’s shirt to solve it. So Adrian and I went to lunch. He was in the dumps and wouldn’t speak. I finally got him to admit he felt useless as a partner because of my psychic abilities. I reminded him that he was very active during the finding of cold cases where the victim was dead and he was a wonderful body guard and friend. I didn’t realize I had been hogging the case files, so I told him we would switch weeks and do lost files one week and live files the next week. Since this was Wednesday, and we started with live files our afternoon would be live files and tomorrow we would do lost. He seemed a bit picked up by this. I apologized to him for seeming to take glory but really I didn’t take any gratification from my abilities just from helping the victim. Our second victim as a fifteen year old runaway who had moved to California and was now eighteen. I took her last known whereabouts to her parents and we spent the rest of the day filling out reports on closed cases. This was the tedious part of the job. After work we swung by Roman Securities and picked up Rhonda and headed home. Damien was on third shift so Rocky would be by at ten to sleep on the couch. Damien gave me a lingering kiss on arrival and I was all warm and giddy inside. He told me he was looking forward to dessert tonight that he had purchased cherry pie and whipped cream. I smiled knowingly. We had dinner by seven pm and was upstairs first Adrian put cherry pie in all the right places letting it drip slowly between my legs then he put whipped cream on all my lady parts. “Two mounds for two babies he said” then he placed a cherry atop each mound. He stood admiring his work and dove in. he liked to start by licking cherry juice off my toes. Then kissed his way to my lady parts where he had mounded cherry pie and whip cream. He spent a lot of time in this area making sure I was completely clean before moving to my belly button and up to my mounds where one cherry had slipped off his mound and Damien had to chase it back to its spot with his tongue. When I was all cleaned up he mounted his little lady for a plunge to ecstasy that we both enjoyed. Then we both showered together where I took him in my mouth for another exotic ride with the water spraying in my face as I suckled his manhood for all the nourishment I could get from it. By the time we completely finished it was nine forty-five and we barely had time to get ready for Rocky to get there. I put on jammers and changed out our sheets while Damien got ready for work. I went to bed and Damien waited for Rocky so we could leave. The day after intimacy with Damien was always obvious because I was so sore. It didn’t help that today was evidence gathering day. I could find victims and perpetrators, but evidence was still a seek and find situation. We lucked out a lot in that since we knew the perpetrator was guilty we could bluff our way into a confession. However, some of the perpetrators were smart enough to lawyer up and that’s what we were working on today. The child who had been torn from his mothers stomach was picked up by children’s services for a DNA test. The parent, a single woman was wearing a fake pregnancy belly and had two other children at home. Each two years apart from each other. It turned out none of the children were hers. Her excuse was she wore the belly so everyone would think they were biological children but in fact they were adopted. She lawyered up really quickly and claimed the children were legally hers. The other two children were found to be stolen from different states as newborns. Whose parents wanted to take them back. The woman had private adoption papers and everything. I knew she was the guilty party but we had to prove that she wasn’t involved with additional people. In the end we took her to trial on circumstantial evidence. Luckily we won but it could have went either way. We went home exhausted but satisfied with the days outcome. Adrian swung by to pick up Rhonda and we all rode home together. When we got home Damien wasn’t there. He had been injured in a rogue attack and was in the pack clinic in critical condition. I rushed over. Damien’s POV I was on third shift and got off at seven but Stephen’s wife went into labor so I pulled a double for him to go be with her. I was a third the way through my patrol when I caught the sent of rogues. I mind linked my position and situation then went to investigate. They crossed into pack lands headed toward the village. I sent the update as I ran to catch up with them. Suddenly I was surrounded by at least ten rogues who seemed more interested in containing me than fighting. When my backup showed up we engaged in battle. Sometime during the fight more rogues showed up. I had one coming at me and grabbed him by the neck when another flanked me and took a chunk out of my leg. It hurt excruciatingly bad and put me on three legs. I was attacked again in the side, but was helped out by a fellow warrior. The fourth time I was attacked he took part of my throat. I thought I was a goner, but he didn’t go deep enough. However I was down for the count so to speak. I lay there panting as the battle raged around me. Once I didn’t get up again, I was ignored which was lucky because I would have died given one more assault. When the battle was finally over most of my men were injured in some way but all of the rogues were down. There were two kept alive for questioning taken to the cells, for medical treatment so they would live long enough to be questioned. The warriors took me and two other critically injured to the pack clinic for treatment. The others could walk back. When we reached the pack clinic I was taken first, hooked up to iv’s and put in surgery that is the last I remember. Destiny’s POV When we reached the pack clinic it was full of injured warriors. I ran to the nurses station and asked for Damien. By the nurses eyes, I knew it was bad. She said he was still in surgery so we waited for him in the waiting room with the other injured. One of the men was holding his arm that had been severed from his body. Suddenly Diamond told me to heal him, but I didn’t know how. So I walked up and took the severed arm and placed it back as correctly as I could and held it there. My hands glowed yellow and got warm, then Diamond told me to let go his arm was attached good as new. OMG I thought, I can heal.
