New World, New Me

As May started to wake up she felt different. She stood up and looked around. She was in a dark cave by herself. "Do not worry if you fallow the glow flies you will be lead out of the cave. Enjoy your new life, find love." The woman's voice faded from her mind. May looked around the cave noticing a small pond in the middle. She walked over to the pond and bent down to see her reflection. She was about 15 or 16 from how young she looked. She had pale white skin, long blonde hair, blue eyes, and a skinny body. It looked like the body she was put in needed to eat more. Asmay stood back up to look around her a wave of dizzyness hit her. In her mind flashes of the memories from the girls body she was in passed through her. The girl was born with no magical power. her family was poor and there wasn't enough food for everyone. The small village where she was from had been attacked by a dragon. The villagers decided to offer the dragon a gift to stop it from attacking their live stock. The gift was a virgin girl that had no powers. She was to be eaten by the dragon to save her village. "She's like me, trying to make everyone happy. Now it's our turn to be happy. I'll get revenge for you and I'll live a happy life for your sacrifice." May had decided to forget about her past and start a new life. Looking around the cave May noticed glowing flies in a group near the left side of the cave on the other side of the small pond. "The Goddess said to follow the glowing flies so that's what I'll do. she also said I had magic, but this girl never had magic so I don't know how to use it yet. I'll have to figure that out later. For now I need to go find shelter, food and clean drinking water. May walked around the pond and as she got closer to the group of flies they started moving away from her. May fallowed the flies around a bolder and through an opening that lead to a hallway carved out of the rock. She walked down the hall keeping with in arms reach of the glow flies. May started to notice the cave was seeming to get lighter. She noticed another opening on her left that the flies passed by. That seemed to be where some light was coming from. "I wonder if the flies got lost. that room looks like it has sunlight coming through." May had thought it might be a good idea to look inside real quick just encase the flies had missed the exit. As May rounded the corner and got a look around the room she noticed why the flies had passed this room. May stood frozen in fear her heart pounding in her ears as she looked in the center of the room. There layer a big dark blue dragon. It's scales were the size of cars coving it's body. The dragon had two sharp horns sticking out of its head. When the dragon breathed out dust and sand flew around the room. May held her breathe thanking the goddess the dragon was asleep. May quietly turned around and started walking back to the hall way when she walked right into what felt like a wall. May rubbed her face where it felt like she hit her head on cement. "We'll look here, my breakfast came to find me," boomed a loud deep male voice that filled the cave. May stopped moving and started shaking thinking about the dragon that was now awake right behind her. "Why didn't I listen to the Goddess. Now my new life is gone and I still haven't found love," May thought to herself. "Your new life, what do you mean by that?" The dragon asked as May turned around realizing something invisible was blocking her way out. as May face the dragon she realized dragon had hurt her thoughts she hadn't said that out loud. the dragon again said what do you mean by New Life? May's eyes began to swell with with tears and she collapsed to her knees. the dragon still laying down all of a sudden looked shocked wondering why the woman in front of him had collapsed. May started crying and sobbing loudly saying "why does this always happen to me. I just died and my last life that was terrible and I was trying to start a new one. now I'm going to be eaten by a dragon right before I can even do anything. this life is just as bad as my last life." the dragon looked at the woman puzzled and then spoke again. "please explain to me what you mean by New Life boomed the dragon. may stop crying and looked at the dragon very angrily. "if you're going to eat me do it fast I'm tired of living this stupid life." the dragon was even more confused and yelled again what do you mean by New Life. may have loudly and said I was just reincarnated into this girl's body to start a new life. in my last life I was in a different world and was treated horribly by my family and beyond ex-boyfriend. in this life I just wanted to with a quiet life. and find someone to love and maybe have a child with. what does it matter now you're just going to eat me." the dragon looked at at May intrigued. "If you can help me break my curse I will help you find a quiet life here in this world. how does that sound instead of being my breakfast?" may look at the dragon confused and as why do you think I can help you break your curse?" I have the eye of God and I can see that your magic power is more than any person I've met in this world so far. if I can teach you how to use that power I have a feeling you'll be able to break my Curse very easily." may look down at her own hands and said the goddess did say I would have immense power. The owner of this body didn't have magic and didn't have any basic understanding of it. I will need help to learn how to use my power properly and not hurt myself or others." so it's a deal ask the dragon. and I looked into the bright green eyes of the dragon in front of her and saw that he was being serious. May knew she needed help in this new world and I dragging on her side seemed like a good idea." fine I will help you break the curse and you will help me use magic." let's make a pack said the dragon so that way neither of us can back away from this deal. may look at the dragon I don't understand what you mean by packed. the dragon waved his claw and they pay for up here in front of May with writing on it. the dragon said this paper says the deal that me and you just agreed to all you need to do is put a drop of blood on the paper and I will put a drop of my blood on the paper. this will make sure the contract is valid between both of us and neither of us can back out." May looked around her and saw a sharp Rock and grabbed it. she is then Pierce her skin on her thumb with the sharp end the rock. when there is enough blood that weld up on her thumb she pressed her thumb to the paper the paper glowed with a gold bright light. the dragon then used his nail she pricked his own skin and drop blood on the paper as well. The paper then glowed white and disappear. May's body felt like a wave of warmth passed over her body. "That warm feeling you just had was the effect of the contract." "Next we have to show you some simple magic or you won't even make it ten steps out of the cave with out me."
