The sinister wolves edge closer, eerily bathed in the amber lights from the territorial divide. Three sets of pitiless black eyes survey me, and I can tell from their stance; these are no ordinary wolves. Rogues. Instead of charging towards me, they keep their distance, assessing me. I have nowhere to hide, indefinitely strung up and defenceless. With the blood continuing to rush to my head, it won't be long before I pass out...and I may never live to wake up.
