Zuriel was in his car waiting. He pulled up his shirt and injected a high dose of painkiller directly into his wound. He gruntled in pain, biting down on his leather gloves. Phoenix got kidnapped because he wasn’t alert. He let his guard down. His only hope is to get to Phoenix on time before the kidnappers can do the unthinkable.
He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. One of his men knocked on his window.
“Boss, the men are ready.”
He nodded and blinked his eyes to activate his lenses, “IRIS.”
