I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces as she looked at me with disgust and fear. I stepped toward her but felt like I had been stabbed in the stomach when she scrambled back away from me.
I looked over to Alpha Flynn, who was just as confused as I was. He rushed forward to take hold of Georgie. Her body was trembling in his arms.
“Georgie…” I whispered, tears welling in my eyes.
“Just go away!” She yelled at me, her voice croaky and harsh.
