Theo Tom and I stood either side of the large metal door. I kicked the vines and greenery aside so that we could open the door without making any sound. My eyes made contact with Tom’s before nodding that we were ready. I twisted the door handle until I heard the faint click of the lock and pulled it open. Tom suck his head through the open door to check for guards. He gave me a thumbs up when he was sure it was clear. I opened the door a touch more and stepped through. Tom followed closely behind me. We stepped with care to ensure that our footsteps were silent and careful. As Alpha Flynn had said, inside the bunker was a long hallway. It was dark and damp. The stone walls curve as the hallway continues. You could tell from the feeling inside of the bunker that it wasn’t somewhere
