I ate every bit of food on my plate. I was too scared not to. Once I had finished, I looked up at Alpha Angus nervously, unsure of what would happen next.
“Are you finished?” Alpha Angus asked, glancing down at my plate.
“Yes. Thank you.” I muttered, not giving him eye contact.
“Rena!” He yelled, not taking his attention away from me.
Rena scurried back inside to collect our plates before hurriedly scurrying back out again.
I didn’t move. I was frozen. I didn’t want to piss him off by doing something he didn’t want me to and I didn’t want to give him the opportunity to do anything more.
“So, where shall we begin?” Alpha Angus grinned as he stalked around the side of the small table.
I remained silent.
“Stand.” Angus demanded. I hesitated for only a second.
“Now!”
