I checked the time every five minutes. It felt like time was ticking by so slowly. I expected an hour to have passed but it was always only five minutes. It was frustrating.
“She will be here soon.” Tom chuckled as I put my phone onto the table a little bit harder than necessary.
“Ugh… seems like it’s taking forever!” I groaned, running my hand through my hair.
“You need to distract yourself. Maybe we should go and meet the warriors? I heard they are training now in the centre. James and Alexis are there as an initiation session this morning.” Tom suggested. It was a good idea, and I should be there to introduce our warriors to the team.
“Good idea. I’ll just put my laptop away and I’ll meet you out the front.” I nodded before walking out of the lounge and down the hall.
