CATALINA My alarm clock dinged from the bedstand and opening my eyes, a growl left my lips. “I can't believe it's Tuesday already.” I mumbled, developing a cold feet about getting to work. Villaverde I suddenly got out of bed, with the kind of enthusiasm I couldn't explain. Visiting disadvantaged communities was kind of my thing. Or starting to be my thing, and watching the grateful smiles on the faces of the women and children, was enough to bring me satisfaction. It was in itself enough reason to wake up each day and make my way to the foundation. Today we're heading off to Villaverde, on our first official visit, and although Karina is excited about it, I can tell she's nervous about it.
