Joy: He will sit down with me.
Ruth: [All the girl's turn and look at Joy, with angry eye's] Have you look at your self in the mirror.
Joy: [hiss] I am beautiful oh and I have shape unlike that shapeless Cynthia. [The teacher enter inside of the class with the newcomer.]
Teacher: Everybody be quiet I want to introduce you to this newcomer here. [With that she told him to introduce his self to everyone]
Maro: Hello everyone my name is Maro, am from America. [He was surprise that everyone is looking at him with interest, mostly the girl's, except one girl sitting at the ending of the class reading her book.]
Teacher: You have heard him, no one should disturb him.
Students: [Everybody shouting come and sit down with me]
Maro: [He was walking and passing every sit with a smile on his face, he finally woke up to Cynthia].
Maro: Hello am Maro can I sit down with you please.
Cynthia: [With an angry face] No, sit elsewhere.
Maro: [He smile to himself saying what kind of girl will not want to sit with me] Please.
Cynthia: I said no, go away. [Everyone was staring at them].
David: Hey Maro why don't you sit with me, that girl she’s really shapeless, besides there is plenty girl's you can sit down with here.
Maro: [He just smiled at Cynthia] Ok [he pushed her softly to the other side of the chair end and sat down].
Ruth: Maro come and sit down with me, leave that girl is not beautiful, she is really shapeless.
Joy & Rita: [They stand up at the same time and say yes] Maro.
Joy: Maro come and sit down here it’s comfortable.
[all the girls ran to where he was sitting and started dragging him]
Maro: You guys girls should stop all this stuff act, I can sit down anywhere I want to sit ok she’s beautiful stop body shaming her. [all the girl’s that where dragging him was ashamed of there self so they went back to their sit].
Maro: [laughing small so they cannot hear him then turn to Cynthia who was reading] sorry to distract you, but is so how your classmate behave—
Cynthia: Point of correction they are not my classmate or friends, I don’t know anyone in this class so mind your business.
Maro: Ok, can I be your classmate?
Cynthia: No, mind your business in this sir. [the teacher enter the class]
Teacher: Hello student.
Students: Good morning sir.
Teacher: Alright sit down.
Teacher: We will be learning about plants and animals.
Teacher: How many bone is in a giraffe?
Ruth: Hmm giraffe, sir I don't know. [Everybody was laughing].
Teacher: Keep quiet, sit down. In fact go and kneel down.
Teacher: [He points at Maro] Are you new here?
Maro: Yes sir, my name is Maro.
Teacher: Ok that’s good, so how many bones is in giraffe?
Maro: Sir I don’t know.
Teacher: Ok point someone to help you.
Maro: [He looks around then he points at Cynthia].
Cynthia: Sir giraffe have 1000 bones because of it’s long neck.
Teacher: Clap for her.
Maro: I don’t know you are brilliant like this. [She did not answer him].
[School have closed, everybody is going home].
Maro: Cynthia wait for me.
Cynthia: Are you going my way?
Maro: Yes, my house is not far from your house, we just move in, in that big upstairs.
Cynthia: Oh, how did you know about my house?
Maro: Can we be friends, I saw you yesterday washing cloth’s.
Cynthia: No, stay away from me. I don’t want anyone to mock me because of you.
Maro: Is it because of what they where saying about your body. I like to be your friend because of your character not because of your body or how you look. Cynthia you are beautiful and nothing can change you, with time you will develop when the time is right.
Cynthia: Ok, then we are friends. [They reach their houses and wave each other]
Cynthia: Mom good afternoon.
Mother: How are you.
Cynthia: Fine.
Mother: There is a friend of mine that have returned from the country, and she wants me to come and visit her. So you have to prepare yourself because this evening we are going to spend a night there.
Cynthia: Ok mom.
Mother: Go and bath, and come and eat your food. Let’s go.
Cynthia: [finished on time] Yes am done. [She and her mom left the house after locking it]. [Once they enter the house they were shock and surprise because in the house was well furnished inside they smiled]
Miracle: Hello Peace, how are you doing [Peace is Cynthia's mother name.]
Peace: I am fine and you. What about your son?
Miracle: I’m fine, he is fine, Maro come down here and say hi to my friends—how are you my girl?
Cynthia: I am fine ma.
Maro: [He was surprised to see Cynthia in his house] Hello ma, Cynthia it’s a pleasure in seeing you in my house. [He smiled].
Cynthia: Ok you too.
Miracle: Do you two know each other?
Maro: Yes, we attend the same school. [Divine and her three friends enter inside the house, Divine is Maro sister.]
Divine: Good afternoon ma [Divine's friends also greeted.]
Miracle: You children should go to the back or...up stairs and play or do something meaningful. [All of them went to the back of the house]
Maro: Wow Cynthia you look good. [one of Divine friends that like Maro stared at Cynthia with a crazy eye.]
Ana: Maro are you blind can't you see that she don't even have buttock, she's really shapeless. [All the friends were laughing]
Cynthia: You... guys should stop. [she turns and ran back to the house with tear in her eyes.] [She finally clean it and went to meet her mom]
Cynthia: Hello.
Mother: What happen.
Miracle: Cynthia why is your eye red.
Miracle: Why are you crying.
Cynthia: Nothing.
Mother: Cynthia are you okay.
Cynthia: Yes ma, where is the room that me and my mom is staying.
Miracle: Maro come and show Cynthia the room they will stay. [she shouted]
