The fair

Emily got ready to meet Gina. She was so excited. She always love to spend time with her. because of her studies, she couldn't get a chance to meet her lately.

Her father was waiting in the car. She said goodbye to her mother and headed towards the main door, when she saw her grand mother coming in.

"where were you granny." Emily asked surprisingly.

"mom told me that, you left early in the morning, where did you go ." she continued.

"Have this" granny ignored her questions and gave her a chain with a locket on the middle of it. It was looking old but, beautiful. It's design was kind of antique.

"what is that for" she asked in confusion.

"This will help you with your nightmares and protect you from other dangers" granny said, while putting the locket around her neck.

"you know, I don't believe in all of this" she said like a kid.

"It's not something superstitious Emy. There is some herbs in the locket, which help to calm the part of your brain, which is making up those dreams." granny tried to convince her.

"oohh like that." Emily looks satisfied. She touched the locked and look at it. It was so pretty.

"By the way, you look good. Going somewhere? " granny changed the topic.

"ya, I am going to meet Gina" she replied.

"oh such a sweet girl. You should better leave now."

"oh yes. See you granny" Emily hugged granny and left.

Granny was standing at the door, looking towards Emily's back when she was leaving. Granny has weird expressions on her face.

Gina's house

Gina lives with her parents. She is a single child. She is a tall, beautiful girl, with slender body. She has perfectly toned skin and dark brown wavy hairs. Her brown colored eyes, makes her even more beautiful.

A wide smile spread on her face, when she saw Emily.

"Emyyyy...." Gina screamed, when she saw her. She ran towards her.

"oh my god. You became even more pretty day by day" Emily compliment her, after a big hug.

Gina swayed her hairs in dramatic way, which make both of them laugh.

They spent time together and chat for so long. Gina was a talkative girl, she told Emily about the village. Although they live in different villages, but Gina knows everything about, almost all the villages here.

They talked about Jackson, as Gina has a huge crush on him, which was normal, because so many girls has crush on him. They started talking about their childhood, then Gina suggest to see some old pictures of them. She has some old photo albums. They both went to the attic of her house, to take those albums.

When Gina was busy in searching those photos, Emily was looking around. The attic was full of old stuff. Then her eyes stopped on the window, the cliff was clearly visible from here. She went close to the window for a better view. And she saw it. She can see a huge castle over there. It looks ancient, but still standing tall. She can see there is a river Gorge between the village land and the castle.

She stare at the castle, as she was thinking. It was the same castle, she used to see in her dreams. She step back with a low gasp, as she remind the dream.

"what happened" Gina noticed her.

She looked at Gina, with fear in her eyes.

"you see the castle" Emily pointed towards the castle.

"yes" Gina replied simply.

"what do you know about it"

"That castle belongs to the royal family for so long. Behind the castle there is a Palace also,which is so beautiful. The royals used to live there" Gina completed.

Emily was looking confused, Gina sensed that and started again.

"they look after the villages and help them, whenever they need. Like helping them with funds, solving disputes between the villages"

"And people obey them??" Emily asked.

"people of that side of the land has so much faith on them, so they still count the royals as their king. And our side of the villagers also respect them for their help and support " Gina said, while rolled her eyes.

"why don't I know all of that" Emily asked, while thinking.

"may be you just forgot Emy, You were long gone. It's almost six years, since you left to the city." Gina tried to explain her, but she was not satisfied.

"did you went there? to the palace?" Emily asked.

"Nope. But I visit those villages several times, with my father, and believe me they are way more beautiful than ours" she said while pointing towards the land of the other side.

"You can see them in the fair, if you want to" Gina said, while picking up the albums.

"What" Emily snapped out of her thoughts.

"yes. One of the royal representatives used to come to the fair every year. Don't tell me you forgot that too" Gina said while heading downstairs.

Emily didn't attend the fair for so long, as she is always busy with her studies and job in the city. She didn't remember most of the thing about it.

Next two days of Emily's life were easy to go. She spent time with her family, met some other friends of her with Gina. She was also happy, because granny's old technique worked well and she got rid of those nightmares. Jackson and his team were preparing for the celebrations with full enthusiasm. And she was happy to see her brother doing his job so well. He was really good at his work.

The celebrations night.

Emily and her whole family was ready to go to the fair. Except granny, she wanted to stay at home and rest. And Jackson was already there, as he has to watch over so many things.

Everyone was so exited, they were dressed well. Emily was in a navy blue colored sleeveless dress, which reach few inches below her knees. Also has matching earrings. She was looking gorgeous. She was a little nervous, as she is going to see the royals today. She don't understand why, but this thought make her feel butterflies in the stomach. Emily's father took them to the fair.

The whole place was full of lights and people. Emily saw so many new faces there, as the people of all the villages are here. She met Gina and her friends there. Her parents let her join them. They took their seats in front row with the help of Jackson. Those were close to the stage, where the royals are going to sit. They were sitting and chatting togather. Gina told everyone that, princes are coming as guest this year. And all the girls were so exited. Everything was good, until the royals came. The man on the stage with mic was announcing their arrival. The news only was enough to make Emily shiver. She was feeling so nervous and exited at the same time.

Everyone were standing in respect for the royals. Two Princes enter in the area, with a bunch of guards following them. Emily turned her face to have a look. She saw them. The Prince.

They were coming towards the stage with their full glory. Emily was stunned. Her Jaws was hanged in the air by the view. Emily thought that Jackson is the tallest and have the bulkiest body among all the people here. But after seeing them, she changed her opinion. Jackson only can reach to their shoulders. Those were tall with broad shoulders and hard chest, even their cloths can't hide their stiffened body. They have the toned and muscular body. They both were looking equally great, but Emily couldn't move her eyes from the first prince.

She can sense their power and authority. But why is everyone else is not feeling that. All the girls were gasping and lookin at them like freaks, they are blushing and admiring the beauty in front of them, while Emily was shivering inside out.

They walked through the way and were just going to the stage, when Emily whispered unknowingly,

"How huge those men are. From which world they are coming from" The moment Emily said those words, the first Prince placed his eyes on her, as he heard her.

But how can be this possible. Even Gina couldn't heard her, who was standing just next to her.

Now the Prince is staring at Emily. His eyes are intimidating her and she suddenly start feeling suffocating. He went to the seats, arranged for them, and nodded everyone to sit. Emily wanted to leave the place, but that would be disrespectful. She has to sit there and face those glares. The Prince was sitting there and whispered something to one of his guards, while pointing towards her. That make her even more nervous.She was moving on her place like a cat on a hot brick. Suddenly her phone vibrate and she thank to god, as she can distract herself a little bit. She picked up immediately. It was Janet. She bend forward little bit and start talking to her, by lowered her neck down. She was staring at the floor, when she noticed a pair of shoes came and stand in front of him. She raised her head to see the owner of the shoes. That was Jackson standing there with a lot of excitement on his face.

"come Emily" he said to Emily.

Emily told Janet to talk later and cut the phone.

"Where" she said surprised.

"The royals wanted to meet my family" he replied. Still excited.

Emily turn her eyes, her parents were already standing near the stairs, waiting for her to climb on the stage.

"why don't you all go, it doesn't matter if I won't come" she try to avoid the close encounter, as she was already intimidated by the Prince. Who was still looking at her.

"Shut up and come with me, I am not going without my little Emy." he hold her hand and drag her towards the stairs. Emily climb the stairs slowly, as she was feeling weak and her legs doesn't want to move. She was shivering, because the aura of the prince was so much for her to handle. She walk towards the seats while staring at the floor and avoiding eye contact. All of them stand in front of the prince and Jackson start to introduce them. Emily didn't dare to raise her head and have a close look of them. she wanted to leave that place as soon as possible. After the introduction, the whole family went off the stage and Emily sigh in relief. She grab the opportunity to be disappear, she didn't went to her seat back and also call all the girls. But only Gina come to her, because all the other girls wanted to watch those specimen on the stage, who were overloaded with all the charms.

"what happened" Gina asked in confusion.

"I don't wanna sit there. It's suffocating me" Emily replied.

"what" Gina almost yelled.

"please, let's go" Emily hurry to leave, as she was feeling that, the prince is hearing every single word she said.

They start to wandering in the fair. This place was full of scrum. So many tents were arranged there for people to set up the shops. The shops were decorated by different lights and owner try hard to attract public. People were selling their stuff, like traditional cloths, antiques, food etc.

Gina and Emily went to a shop which was full of woolen cloths. The owner lady welcom them with a warm smile. Winter is coming soon and they wanted to pick something. They were going through the cloths, when they heard the crowd agitating. Something was happening. They look around, and see that, the public is running and screaming.

"what happened" Gina screamed.

"Animal attack" someone in the crowd screamed, while running.
