Dear diary,
When you’ve spent your entire life having to be strong because of the cruel cards life has dealt you, you learn to be wary of situations, and most importantly, learn to keep out of them. I know I’m broken, I admit it. But after our wedding, things haven’t been as rosy as I’d expected.
Daciano has been going away on his pack duties more often than before, with him always being caught up in a festival to plan, a fight to settle, a case to judge, and sometimes even wars to fight that combine to keep him away from me for days at times. And it’s leaving me feeling lonely, despite being surrounded by all the other people in their numbers.
It makes me realize that what I need is a friend apart from my husband, someone to listen and talk
