The moment Jessica and Eric enter the room, a pulse sends my heart racing faster than it would as I see the looks on their faces. Eric's face is etched with urgency and carries every indication of it, while Jessica looks shaken, which does enough to indicate the gravity of the situation we're in.
“What's happening?” I ask them, pulling Aiden close to myself. “Who is the Lycan that has attacked?”
“The lycans have launched a full-scale attack on the coven, which we might not be able to contain, and it was so well planned that they attacked when we were weak. Besides, it’s not just any Lycan… it's Daciano, and he’s apparently come to get you and Aiden. A witch we found dying admitted that he gave him information about you.”
