“why did she react that way?”
“why does it look as if she doesn’t care anymore?”
The discovery sent a pang through my heart and soul, jolting me up.
I slowly removed Kate’s hands from my arms and distanced myself from her.
She grumbled silently but kept quiet.
At least she knows her place, I thought, but the discovery about Olivia still left me unsettled and uneasy.
What does she mean by that look?
I need to get done with this election and the wolf conference fast and return to my pack before things slip out of my control completely.
That is if it hasn’t already, and I dread that feeling.
I calmed down after a few minutes, putting my emotions and thoughts under control.
