On getting back to the Blood Manor, I exhaled in relief. The sightseeing this time had been very intense and thrilling.
"Who was that man?"
"What did he mean by ancient treasures?"
I thought as I tried to process everything that happened, but ended up getting more confused.
Whatever it was, I shouldn’t bother about it anymore since I arrived back unharmed, I told myself, but my mind kept drifting back to that mysterious stranger.
There was something about him I couldn’t place.
I could feel it but couldn’t explain it, and that’s what intrigued me the most.
His calm and soothing voice.
