Ella’s POV
Terry was such a scheming bastard and I was going to expose him for the con that he was. I waited up all night thinking about how I was going to tell Lisa what had transpired between us that evening. I had to get to her first or he would. And I didn’t know what nonsense he was prepared to tell he just so that he soiled my name instead.
So, when morning came, I made sure I got out of bed early enough. I know that I had work to do and if I were like just a few minutes late, no one would notice. I really had to speak to Lisa. She was my friend and I needed to look out for her. I knew she would do the same for me if the tables were turned.
