Ella's POV
I dashed through the buzzing streets of town, the speed I was running at caused a few people to look back at me.
It was 7.42 AM and the bus left at 7.45. I was about to miss the first bus to the office. It wasn't at all a bad thing but I just liked to get to the office way before Artemis arrived.
I blamed my lateness on the fact that I couldn't sleep properly last night.
Whenever I closed my eyes, I snapped them back open, too scared to let sleep overtake me. I was scared that I would have another nightmare. I finally dozed off at about four in the morning and I guess I was really tired because I slept through my three alarms that rang at seven.
