Ella's POV Lisa and I were back at the mall searching for a dress for the dinner with the president. We had already been to three different boutiques but none of the dresses captured our attention. I needed a dress that made a bold statement without having to break my bank account. After all, I was just beginning to emerge from the depths of financial hardship. Exhausted, we sat on one of the benches to rest our weary legs. We had been on our feet for three hours straight, and the clock was ticking. We needed to wrap up our shopping spree within the next three hours at most, as we still had to hit the supermarket, which got unbearably crowded on weekends.
