Artemis’ POV
Paul texted me one evening to tell me that he was coming over with some beer. It was the first time he would be visiting since Ella moved in. Thankfully, she had planned a date with Sean and I had only just let her go because I didn’t want to seem so overprotective. They were going some party at Sean’s parents’ so it necessarily wasn’t a private thing. That had calmed me down some and I told her to take enough pictures.
I had offered to drive her to the venue when she refused to drive. She said she wasn’t strong enough yet to drive on her own and she didn’t want to bother me at all. Even if it wasn’t no bother, I didn’t push it.
When Paul came, I was trying to do some work on my laptop. I let him in and the first thing he did was open my fridge for some food.
