Ella’s POV
I had been in Artemis’ house for almost a month now but I didn’t think that it had been that long already. It didn’t feel that way. I loved spending quality time with him. He was a wonderful man and Nana had a lot of good things to say about him when we spoke over the phone. She had gone back to her lakeside home in another state and promised not to travel for a while if we came over to visit her.
I didn’t know how Artemis would feel about traveling so I hadn’t brought it up yet, besides we had a lot of work to do.
That day, Artemis was meeting with some company heads that he was trying to do business with. I was supposed to follow him to keep minutes of the meeting. We left from the office together and arrived at the hotel which had a conference room we were going to use.
