Chapter 6Nighthawk Aviation was at a private airstrip on the west side of town. It sat among two other chartered flight companies, with three large hangars and any given number of planes depending on how each business was doing. Oliver and his family owned the chartered flights and flight school, with a Gulfstream for chartered flights and a Cessna for the school. Oliver stood in the lobby that held four black plastic chairs to his left. Before him, a large map of the United States with magnetic planes to play with hung on the wall. Behind him, a main counter stood with a computer screen on top. Norah sat on top of the counter while Sophie Watersly, another pilot with their company, tied Norah’s shoes under his mom’s watchful eye. His dad was in the office behind him with the door closed.
