Chapter 23“Hey, wake up.” Ron slid a hand across Oliver’s face. “We need to head back in. Foley says we need to see something at the dock.” Oliver sat up, blinked several times as his eyes focused. The cabin was full of sunshine and Ron was dressed in jeans. “Did he say what?” “No, but it’s serious.” Ron grabbed a black T-shirt, pulled it on. “I’ll get us back there.” Ron rushed out of the bedroom. Oliver pulled on his briefs and jeans, then called his mom. The call went straight to voicemail, so either he didn’t have good service on the lake, or his mom couldn’t answer. After he dressed, he joined Ron at the wheel as they returned to the dock.
