Chapter 14

It currently my 3rd week here, just one more week and I shall venture on my own, I’ve seen enough of Hollywood and quite frankly I’ve had enough, so tomorrow I have an interview at a production house where Sherlock said he’s going to put word for me and we are going together, I’m taking it like a meeting instead of an interview and I know I’m going to ace it, I’ve been watching their series long enough to know what they need to add in order to boost the storyline and get more viewers.

So instead of getting hyped about tomorrow I’m going to see Miguel at his workplace more like surprise him, I called an uber I don’t want Antonio warning me off is son so I couldn’t ask him for a ride, my ride came and I stopped by at a restaurant to order take out, paid the driver extra for waiting for me, good thing Miguel wasn’t a CEO or anything that was I didn’t get asked 21 questions, unfortunately, he was in a meeting so I had to wait. After 30 minutes he was out and speaking to his colleagues and a lady was holding on to his shoulder

Vanessa: “Miguel” I called out and everybody turned to look at me, What? I was a sight to behold haha just kidding I had black skinny jeans with a Liverpool t-shirt and black Vanz and lipstick and an untidy hairdo

Miguel: “Vanessa, wow how long you’ve been waiting?” he untangled himself from the lady and came to me to give me a hug, I smirked into the hug looking at the prying eyes.

Vanessa: “Oh you know +45 minute now, but I’m not complaining” he led me to his office and shouted “the party is over”

Miguel: “This is a nice surprise, my dad dropped you here?”

Vanessa: “Now it wouldn’t be a surprise if he did, I got us lunch let devour”

Brandon’s POV

I am a CEO of a multibillionaire company, I got everything and need in life but when it comes to Vanessa, I don’t know what I’m doing wrong I’ve fallen in love with her, no in fact I’m in love with her I was infatuated by her the first time I saw her but each time I think I got her she slips off my fingers, she’s been avoiding me for a week, I’d think she heard Stacy’s screams when I was f*****g her but she was asleep because I went to knock at her room afterward and it was locked. I only slept with Stacy because it been months since we f****d and I know now that she’s been cheating on me I have proof, I f****d her but I wasn’t satisfied only Vanessa can make the hunger go away.

I hired a private investigator but half the time she’s with Antonio or that Sherlock guy she’s always hanging with, I even did a background check on him and on the other side Stacy is sleeping with her boss and with my best friend Craig, now those pictures I saw made me take a back seat and really think hard, I’m over it now if I loved Stacy I would’ve been furious but truth is I’m really happy because now I can get rid of her very easily and be free to be with Vanessa, I just got to get her to love me and trust me I’ll surprise her with a bit of red bottoms and Givenchy gab that should warm her heart.

Vanessa’s POV

The only reason I left Miguel was because he had to go to a meeting at 3 otherwise I would’ve stayed till he dropped me off home had a good time with the lad, couldn’t stop looking at his lips, my God I’m losing it. I arrived home early and stayed in my room with my door locked and at 7 I went down to have dinner by my surprise it was a candlelit dinner

Vanessa: “Am I interrupting something?”

Brandon: “No, I did this for you?” I folded my arms not buying the act had I been not mad I would’ve been over the moon for his effort

Vanessa: “Why what the occasion or I get it, you probably set this whole thing up with your girlfriend nice prank but no thanks”, I walked away

Brandon: “Vanessa wait, please I did this for you, you’ve been avoiding me and I don’t know what I did please let enjoy this dinner together”

I sat down I was hungry not going to lie, the food was amazing as soon as I finished I stood up and said “thanks”

“Wait there’s dessert”, Brandon said

Vanessa: “I’m good thanks” I walked back to my room and locked my door within 5 minutes and I just ignored it, the knock was persistent so I ended answering it

“What is it now Brandon?”

Brandon: “I got you something” I opened the door for him and he had 2 gift boxes and he put them on top of my bed “Open it,” he said

Inside the first box were red bottoms in size 5 exactly my size and the 2nd box was a white Givenchy bag the same I’ve seen Lady Gaga carrying I still wasn’t moved by the gift just then my phone rand and I took it out of my pocket and it was Miguel

Vanessa: “mmm hey you”

Miguel: “Hey you alright?”

Vanessa: “All good papí wassup?”

Miguel: “Fancy some late night drive?”

Vanessa: “As a matter of fact some Ice cream would be nice”

Miguel: “Yes ma’am, there’s a new place that opened just across my workplace, I’d love to invite you Friday evening so we can check it out if you’re not busy?”

Vanessa: “Friday, I’d love to, what time?”

Miguel: “I’ll pick you up around 7pm and about Ice cream, I’m outside your gate”

Vanessa: “Ooooh I love a man who knows what he wants and full of surprises too, say no more” I hung up the phone Brandon looked so hurt, serve him right

Brandon: “Going somewhere Friday?”

Vanessa: “Since when do we keep tabs on each other’s love lives, Mr McCain?”

Brandon: “You’re not going there!”

Vanessa: “Watch me Alpha” he came to me with menacing steps

“If you even think of hitting me Brandon it will be the last time you ever do it”

Brandon: “I want to come with you, I’ll invite Craig you won’t even notice me there”

Vanessa: “I don’t get it, why you want to come in the 1st place, it my invite”

Brandon: “Because I want you to myself. Is that so hard to believe?”

Vanessa: “Bullshit, you hear me Bullshit, I f*****g saw you Brandon I f*****g saw you with my own eyes f*****g Stacy in the bathroom that other night, whatever it is that we’ve been doing no more”

Brandon: “I’m leaving her did you know she was f*****g Craig, my own best friend and she’s also sleeping with her boss sleeping with her that night was the 1st time this month she’s been avoiding s*x this whole time cause she knows she’s getting it somewhere else”

Vanessa: “Well ain’t that a bummer” I grabbed a jacket, phone and house keys “I’d love to chat about it and comfort you but gotta go” I left him surprised I kept Miguel waiting long enough

“Well somebody is having boyfriend tendencies”

Miguel: “What can I say, you’re the only source of light shining my way, I gotta keep you cherished”

Vanessa: Huh! Well I must say I’ve never heard that line before, good going for you kid now drive before the ice cream shop closes”

We bought the ice cream and went to the top of the hills overlooking the whole of Hollywood, it was really beautiful Sherlock and I come here from time to time and just talk while having ice cream. Miguel and I talked and flirted I really enjoy myself when I’m with him we ended up kissing mmmh I really enjoyed the kiss, it was a hungry kiss with passion in it beautiful combination.
