BRIAR'S POV -- I've never felt more strange than right now. It's been two days since we rescued Tarin, and Fenrys is trying his very best to be there for him while giving him space at the same time. It's so f*****g weird, but also understandable. I put the fried bacon on the table, sitting down next to Tarin. "Sleep well?" I ask while trying not to seem like I'm pushing into his life.
