Chapter 10October 13th, 2014 Bramson Bay, Oregon After the confrontation with Burton the atmosphere in Lockwood’s room improved. Crowley was willing to give me a chance. The resentment I still picked up from him seemed more a product of professional rivalry instead of hatred. Burton, on the other hand, was something else.
