Chapter 30October 14th, 2014 Bramson Bay, Oregon Ever tried to go to sleep in a smoky, dimly lit hallway littered with the bodies of the formerly undead? Yeah, I didn’t think that was something I would ever do either. But life throws you little surprises like that now and then. I didn’t want to lay down on the floor among the bodies. The smell was bad enough, although most of the dead things in the hallway had been dead longer so the smell was drier, more chemically and dusty over the decay. It was just too creepy to stretch out on the floor among the dead, as if I was one of them. Instead I sat down, back against the wall, knees up and my head on my arms crossed over my knees.
