I sat in the flower shop and watched the numbers climb.
Keep pushing, I mind-linked my contact. More posts. I want the pressure on her constant. When the livestream drops, I want this already at peak levels.
I closed the link and turned to Sandra. She had the look she always got when she was deciding whether to speak.
"Ms. Jenson." Her voice was careful. "If Stoneclaw Entertainment decides to push back on the copyright—"
"Isn't ten million enough to keep them quiet?"
"But if they—"
"Stoneclaw backs Rising Notes," I said. "Every post I generate drives traffic to their show. They earn. They look away. Worst case, I promote their artists afterward. These things are always negotiable."
Sandra went quiet.
