The image of Jake supporting Adrienne at the Healers’ Quarters, at the concert, as well as at the auction had seared its way into my brain. It was clear where he stood. The two of them had hurt me deeply. To the point where it was important that I get immediate care.
After Dr. Roberts had signed off on it, we had undergone treatment that day. As this was a highly confidential private facility, my stay here would not be revealed until after I was discharged. In anticipation of it, Renee urged me to take all my meds on time, keep up with my appointments, and encouraged me to take some time off to relax.
