The Alpha King's Blood Oath

Sharing a Memory

( Lincoln's POV )

Seeing Jacob in so much pain over a memory was worth the anger and torment I would receive later on for invading his privacy. The moment I bit into his wrist it slammed my head like a sledgehammer, it would only be this painful if he used magic to keep it at bay, the feeling was to remind our brain not to go there. What a great start to the arrival ceremony good thing about doing this Jacob's pain is lessoned by at least 60%. I was pretty much taking away this memory the pain and feelings would be as if they were my own.

As we walked through the long Corridor I could feel the Rogue glaring at my back, we walked until we came to a chamber that was decorated for a queen, I couldn't see anyone's face properly this was the only downfall of someone else's memories it was never clear who was actually speaking, as I stepped into the room I could smell the faint aroma of honeysuckles, cinnamon and cedarwood a strange combination but alluring.

" Blood Oath, Alpha King you want me to kill the eldest of your daughters?" I asked as calmly as possible.

" Yes, Prince Jacob," he replied without any care.

" As part of the deal we made several millennia ago if you remember," it was like he was trying to give me an explanation as to why I had to do it, dumb dog.

" so you could take what you needed to survive with my permission, your father has agreed and it will settle all debt's," I nodded knowing there was no way out, it was signed and sealed only the death of this daughter could unseal it giving us our freedom.

I started to get anxious wanting to get this all over and done with, I was thinking today was that day, I had killed without Mercy many time's to survive, what is one more werewolf, I guess I was pushing my brain to think of the Princess as a b***h or a murderer cause killing an innocent girl would break me I wasn't that heartless. 

I hadn't looked around the room properly it wasn't until I saw a baby rattle fly at the Alpha King's head and heard her sweet little voice I realized there was a toddler in the room. My eyes grew wide as the Alpha King went to grab her angrily but she dropped and he took hold of the silver bar's growling as his hand began to sizzle I heard her little laugh towards the Alpha's pain, I like this kid. 

WTF is going on? a baby in a silver caged cot I could also smell wolfsbane the 2 deadliest substances against a wolf and this baby was caged in it, the little pup took hold of the bar's and looked at me her face visibly touching the bar's but having no effect. My heart skipped a beat more than a beat a couple I think, my breath hitched as I whispered those dreaded word's, 

" My Beloved."

 I had heard many stories of my kind finding there beloved at a young age and waiting for them to grow into adulthood but I had never heard of a Vampire and A Pup being a beloved. What was the moon goddess thinking?

" This is the b***h," Growled the Alpha King.

I froze in place, I can't do it can't kill the one destined for me. My Jaw clenched tight I could feel it start to grind until my blood filled my mouth.

" You know the Law's, Meridius, " I managed to say an actual sentence, with an angry tone. 

" We would be immediately condemned by Hades as she is a Royal as well as under 18, and your Heir,"  I took a deep breath looking at the open door wanting to run for it but my feet wouldn't move my fucken useless feet. 

I heard him snarl at her she was innocent pure how could he hate his own pup so much?

" Fine you kill her," he pointed at the Rogue that stood on the opposite side facing the door, he backed up shaking his head.

" No way I may be a Rogue but babies I don't do." I grinned when there was a sudden scream as a tall women burst into the room. 

" Nooooo," she screamed running for the Crib.

" Then kill the Queen," Meridius roared. The Rogue jumped over the Crib without a second to spare even before I could react, I heard the Queen let out a small cry as he landed on her in Wolf form. I closed my eyes with a feeling of hatred, this poor kid my beloved seeing that would be forever plastered in her memory traumatizing her for life.

" Mumma, " I heard her whimper, 

" Mumma, " she then roared in a different voice.

My eye's opened in surprise as 3 voice's echoed Mumma through the room a voice-only an Alpha carried, she was bloodied with a heart in her hand and the Rogue lay dead. 

I shook my head a little confused.

" I knew you were hiding some-thing you little b***h," Growled Meridius,

" You have your wolf." 

I must have blacked out for a short time when I finally came to my senses the Queen stood in Betta Mike's arms. I had the dead Rogue's heart in my hand and was eating it happily what happened? 

I almost vomited when Meridius took her by the throat and squeezed I swear I heard a few bones crack beneath the force he used, I took a step to attack when again I froze in place, what the f**k why can't I move? my eye's caught a glimpse of a little blonde girl in the doorway her eyes were like rainbows sparking, she held one arm up to me holding me in place, when the sound of a cracking bone was heard again I desperately tried to turn but this little witch was strong, I saw her mouth move and again everything went black.

I heard something hit the wall hard as I came too, her arm was broken but still, she did not cry why don't I remember things was it the witch?

" Stop This Alpha," I hissed stepping in between the two standing face to face with Meridius, 

" she is the Blood Oath, therefore she needs to be alive." Meridius looked into my eyes with a glare that could have killed me if looks could kill, then like a psychopath he smiled, the Mother Fucker Smiled.

" Take her to the chamber," His eyes were still in contact with mine. neither of us making an effort to turn away.

" It's her Birthday Meridius," cried the Queen she launched herself at him, he caught her in midair by the waist, his head turned to her kissing her forcefully, pulling away he threw her to the floor right outside the door,

" The Rogue is yours Prince enjoy the meal," he cackled annoyingly, before turning back.

" Betta Mike after you," the queen got up and tried to re-enter the room only to be pushed around the corner. 

I felt small spark's on my leg as the young pup leaned against me. One of the sign's that she was my beloved, I lowered to get a look at her even though I couldn't really see her face, Jacob's emotion's made it clear they were off the scale, out of nowhere a sheet had covered her body and lifted her off the ground like she was dirty laundry or trash to be put out. 

I almost died when I heard her voice again, A tear rolled down my face, 

" Bye Bye Pwince J-Jaycub," she whispered.

" We will have the Rogue taken to your Limousine Prince Jacob," the remaining two guards bowed.

   I was alone in the chamber this is f****d up it was the only thing I could think about how f****d up this situation was, I will never kill my beloved, I need to get her out of here.

I run out of the room turned right as I followed the path I had come in from, All dungeons were in the basement's so down I would go, I came down the stair's into the Large Foyer because there was a bit of noise and I heard children yelling. 

Several Maid's were on there knee's with there face on the floor whimpering not raising there heads at any time.

Two young girls stood in front of a steel door under the staircase, one was the little blonde witch she had a daisy chain on her head, the other was full of fire as she snarled at a lonely guard trying to get to the door behind them, her red hair suited to her temper as two young boys stood challenging the guards who held the young princess they all were all around the age of 8, the Largest of the boy's pointed at the sheet, His black hair was bouncing around as though he was trying to keep them guessing what he was gonna do next.

" Let her go," he screamed as loud as he could full of authority and confidence.

" Blake we have our order's, " one of the guards growled. 

The young Blake ran forward sliding and kicking the guard's knee, he hit it so hard it bent in the wrong direction, he broke it easily, the guard cried in pain as the other moved to grab him he lept up his head directly hitting the other guard's crutch.

" Coward's all of you," his fist came down hard on the guard as several more appeared.

" Catch her Aiden," Blake growled, backing up, Aiden slid under another guard as the sheet dropped toward the floor, Aiden wrapped his arm's around her as gently as he could. I turned back to watch Blake he was like a mini warrior at work and winning against full-grown soldiers.

I let my nails extend happy to help when the little witch did it again, 

" Let me help them," I growled annoyed.

" You cannot, The king will kill you and wage war on your kind," she said quickly but quietly.

" Run Prince and Never return." she then said without remorse. 

I wanted to run but Blake's word's had already hit me in the heart if I ran I would feel like a coward.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw him he landed directly behind Aiden, he let out a roar that made everyone pause for a moment, not giving the boy enough time to run he grabbed Aiden like a coffee mug by his waist and lifted him, Blake fought on aggressively as he watched his friend bleeding and in pain,

" Go, " he growled still fighting, his young feature's desperate to save his friend and his little princess.

Ariella slouched in defeat she reached out and took the redhead's hand before disappearing.

Aiden wouldn't release the princess even when it looked like he was going to pass out, blood dripped from his side as the Alpha's finger's disappeared into his flesh, I was hopeless, save my beloved or save my people.

" Betta Mike, Your son is about to die." Meridius then ran his finger from Aiden's left eye down passed his lip's, he growled with clenched teeth but would not scream, her sweet little voice broke through all the growl's,

" Nooooowa," I watched as the sheet tore open her little hand reached up and her thumb disappeared into the Alpha's eye her dark hair was seen emerging as she tried ripping his eye out of its socket.

" Bad Dog," she then screamed.

The Alpha had no other choice but to drop Aiden, the momentum helped to dislodge his eye but the Alpha King grabbed her kicking the boy across the floor. 

" Wun Aiden, Bake elp Aiden," The young boy shook his head as tear's now flowed from his eyes. 

" Z " he cried. she smiled sadly, " ed ok brudda go," she turned away as the Alpha snapped her arm like a twig. 

I let out a roar of anger as Blake carried his friend out the door, My growl stopped all his guards from giving chase surrounding me instead.

 " Happy Birthday Princess," the Alpha spat breaking her arm again in a different place. 

I stormed forward only to be stopped by his guards including Betta Mike, his eyes staring at the ground face expressionless.

" Leave now Prince Jacob while you still can," Mike then mumbled lowly. I hissed in his face, 

" When the time comes, I will fucken kill him." I pulled my arm away as the sun began to rise and shine through the open door. 

The little witches' voice kept on repeating in my head. ' Leave and Never return,' I felt weak, useless, a coward I heard her soft whimper before another crack of a bone I flinched every time I heard it, a blood tear run down my cheek. 

The sun was more welcoming than this castle of torture, I tore the dark curtain from the window and wrapped it around me, not looking back I kept hearing it, the snap like he was following me I ran out into the sun not giving a s**t of what was gonna happen to me. 

" Lincoln." I roared,

" open the door,"  I ran as fast as I could to the Limousine, I saw the door fly open, at the same time I felt my face start to burn, then my shoulder, that isn't what hurt the most it was that dam sound of her limb's snapping, her quiet whimper's that touched my heart that is what hurt the most it was still fresh in my head and wouldn't go away, I dove into the car as Lincoln slammed the door closed.

" Jacob, What the Hell !!" he screamed pouring water all over my fresh burn's,

" Drive," I roared banging on the window separating the driver from the client or owner, I pushed Lincoln away from me angrily, though it wasn't his fault. As I looked out the window I saw the 4 kid's running for the forest being chased by an army, in the outskirts you could see more kids waiting for them.

" Old Friend, What just happened, for you to run into the sun what were you thinking."

" Don't ask Old friend cause I will never tell you." I am a coward, I don't deserve this life.

" Just know I will never return here again."

I never did and I blocked this memory for good until now.

I opened my eye's staring at Jacob with anger, hate more so sadness my friend had felt like a coward abandoning his beloved using a witch to stop the pain and memory. 

" not your fault, Jacob," I mumbled,

 " when this is done let's go talk."

Jacob held his hand out to me, I took hold and he pulled me to my feet. 

" They're coming in and I will deal with this when I am ready," he replied turning away from me,

" But thank you old friend," he smiled slightly and watched the Alpha King with disgust. 

I bowed my head turning to see the one being everyone hated and feared The Alpha King Meridius Hart.
