Niklas' POV
Everything came to a halt.
Like a scream, the gunshot ripped through the atmosphere. Before I could think, my body moved. Emilia was behind me one moment, and the next, she wasn't.

The blow struck me hard in the chest. I fell hard to the ground as my knees gave way.
