CHAPTER THIRTY TWO Avery was not at all surprised to find that Heather Ellis was not at home. She lived in an apartment in a three-story building. When Avery and Kellaway arrived, people had started to wake up and get ready for their days. Some were even heading out of the door, perhaps hoping to get to work a little early.
