"Here we go. One mega breakfast with pancakes on the side and one mega breakfast with cinnamon rolls on the side." Kat announced as she place plates with the food on the table in front of the Blackstone brothers.
Eating at the diner had now become an every weekday thing for Dean and Joseph. At first, when their mother heard about it she was angry that they were not eating with the family anymore. Stacey had told Connie that it was only Kat's baked goods the boys wanted, she let it go. But not before giving a knowing smile towards Dean.

Kat now worked weekdays at the diner and took her off on weekends. Saturday she helped Harriet around the house and Sunday she mucked about with Sam. She was loving the simplicity that had come with Lambe
