Friday came quicker than Kat expected, she was both nervous and excited. She gave Harriet off and so that she could make dinner by herself. She decided on her all-time favorite spaghetti and meatballs, it was simple and easy to make. And for dessert, she opted for a simple strawberry cheesecake.
At exactly six o’clock the doorbell rang, luckily everything was done so she went to open it for them. Before she got to the door an obscene banging began which made her hurry. She opened the door to find Joseph paused ready to bang the door again.
“Pumpkin,” he screamed and engulfed her in a bear hug. The rest of the Blackstone’s laughed at Joseph’s outrageous behavior.
