Dean held Kat's hand in his watching her for any sign of waking up. Doctor Evans had her connected to an IV drip that was helping to get rid of whatever poison that was in her. She was still unconscious and had not woken up since she had fainted.
Dean had been told that she would wake up anytime and that she was going to be alright. He just did not believe that, not until she opened her eyes and he saw for himself that she was fine.
"Hey man, mind if I come in?" Jake asked peeking from the door.
Dean had been so lost watching Kat he had not heard the door open at all.
"No," he said not turning to his friend.
"How is she holding up?" Jake asked as he came to sit on the couch across from the hospital bed.
"Evans said she will be fine, the rat poison was not enough to kill her," Dean re
