Kat silently watched the trees fly by as Dean drove them back home. She had refused to fly back with Connie and Darren. Kat loved them but the few hours they were around she felt like she would be smothered to death.
She had also refused Zach's offer for them to stay at any of his hotels. Kat wanted to be home. She was scared, confused, and unsure of what to do next. The threat on her life had been upped and she had no clue how to protect or save herself.
