CHAPTER 2: WHO IS HE

Is it.. Ethan?
I am confused and excited at the same time. It feels like every doubts I have, turns into building blocks of new hope. Without a second thought, I turn on the lamp shade and begin to fix my hair as I stand up and take steps leading to the door. I took three deep breath as I twist the doorknob.
" What took you so long to open the door?I was about to kick this door thanks god I was able to control myself or else my heels will be broken."
He said in a girly tone of voice.
Heavens ! I was about to lose my spirit. Standing in front of me is a tall guy with his hands placed in his waist. And what? Yeah, he's wearing a high heels. It is definitely not Ethan, but my gay friend, Anastasia. I mean his real name was Antonio but obviously he will kick me straight to the face if I dare calling him that way.
"What the hell are you doing here? And how did you get in?"
I ask him with my palms on my face. I can't believe what had happen. This guy, I mean girl by heart is astonishing. He even put extra effort in making a manly voice.
"I used the door."
He answered with sarcasm.
"It seems that you are disappointed in seeing me. Why? Are you expecting someone else? Hmm, let me guess."
He says while pointing his fingers on his jaws.
" Aha! You're expecting that guy again. You are really desperate to think that he's the one in here, girl."
Then he laughs.
I know he's joking but why does it hurt.
"No! Ahm. I just thought.. I just thought someone enters my house. I thought you were a thief."
I said as an excuse. But I believe that this goddamn will not even accept my explanation.
" By the way, how did you get in? Are you a ghost?"
I ask to turn down that topic and to get the answer because I'm confused.
"You left this inside my car."
He raised my keys. Wait. What? My keys? So I freaking locked myself inside my house without a my key? How? Flashback starts, he accompanied me to my house after our group activity. But I didn't remember that I left it there inside his car. Goodness!
"I didn't bother to run after you when you leave because I remember it was your birthday and you will again be so hopeful about that guy. So, I give you the benefit of the doubt."
He smiles. As if I should be happy about it though.
"You just did it to pissed me off. But thanks for the keys."
I sarcastically said and grab my keys in his hands.
Antonio is my classmate turned into one of my bestfriend. He is the one I can talk to with my problems since Ethan is away, my parents are away and I had no one to talk to. Despite of those harshful conversations we are making, I'm thankful for this guy because he really cares for me. The proof is seen, he even greeted me today. I wasn't expecting it but I do appreciate it.
He sits in my bed while massaging his legs uttering his complains.
"My goodness Kira! My legs hurt because of you. You should treat me because you made pissed me off."
I laugh. He's so cute. Just imagine a guy acting like a pity child and asking a treat for a problem he created for himself. I don't say a word, I just stood here and laugh. He just squint angirily but his emotions changes instantly.
"Anyway, I invited some of our friends to come over. We need to prepare. "
He said with a wide smile in his face. He did what? He invited some of our friends for my own birthday?
"Are you freaking serious right now?"
I asked out of shock. He nods and then lays in my bed and about to sleep. Son of a b***h!
"Don't worry, I already prepared everything for you. You just need to relax and be ready."
His eyes were already closed.
Can't believe this is even happening. I'm not a fan of birthday celebrations and inviting some of my so called "friends" aren't my thing anymore. But what can I do? He planned everything for me.
He is really good. Good at pissing me off.
"Who will be coming over?"
I saw his eyes opening as I ask that question.
"I won't tell you. It's a surprise."
He replies.
I don't know but I feel threatened by that word "surprise". I hate surprises. The probable present I want to have is Ethan's presence.
" You'll be shock to know who's gonna come later."
He added while giggling.
