And Then There Were Two...

The lighthouse was only about a mile out of town, especially if you took the old dirt path that cut across the grassy fields. The tall grass and wild flowers waved in the breeze as Cassandra and Tempest made their way along it leisurely. They made silly jokes and spoke of nothing in particular as they strolled along enjoying the beautiful day. Bees buzzed from one flower to another, and as they came closer to the town, farther down the way, Bee Keepers geared up in their suits could be seen harvesting honey from their hives. The theater was a very old building, vintage and fully refurbished. It was nestled right in between a used bookstore and a confectionery. Vanishing Point's confectionery boasted the finest homemade fudge on the coast. They also had a whole line of movie themed treats from various films, including toot sweet whistles from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. As they approached the door to the theater a tall, dark and handsome stranger gently brushed passed them and open the door. He smiled and nodded, "Ladies." He said, ushering them in. Tempest met his gaze, his dark eyes almost looked crimson in the shadows. That must be a mistake, or contacts maybe? A cold fever, froze than heated her body. "Mine" that now familiar voice startled her. God, when did she become so possessive of every dashing, new guy in town? There were visitors all the time in Vanishing Point. This summer seemed to be the first time she actually noticed the eyecandy walking around. He followed her in, his hand lightly brushing hers as he started heading up the main stairs case in front of them. There was a surge of heat that rushed through her blood at his touch. She felt as if she had fire churning inside her. That certainly had never happened before. She caught a smirk on his face at her reaction even as he was walking away. "Tony is in the office, who should I say is here?" "Cassandra and Tempest Rain" mom called after him. As he reached the landing in front of the main stage, where it leveled and split in to two sperate stair cases leading up to the second level, Tony appeared at the second level rail. "Cass! My Darling, I was just going to give you a call!" his Italian accent echoed through the empty lobby. "Antonio! What project are you cooking up this time?" "I'll tell you all about it, come into my office. Oh, have you met my nephew? That's Damien, he's my sister's kid, she shipped him here to get some international experience. My, my Tempest, you look prettier everytime I see you. You kids get acquainted, while I discuss the next production with Cass." The man was a whirlwind of energy, as soon as he had appeared he was ushering Cassandra up to him, and the two Creatives left Tempest and Damien on the landing staring after them. Well... Tempest was staring after them. Damien, was staring at Tempest. He was wearing all black, as a backstage hand would wear, his hair was dark, his skin tan, and his figure was muscular and fit. She drank him in, as that voice inside her head purred and her blood began to boil longing for another touch. Those brimstone eyes glowed in the darkness, and without a word he reached out and took her hand leading her through the entrance to the main auditorium. Warmth surged through her whole body and her head became full of lust and longing. At the very back of the theater he pressed her up against the wall holding both her hands and brushing her ear with his lips. "I would like nothing better to get more acquainted with you, my Queen." He whispered. His hot breath sent shivers down her spine. Without thinking about it she brought his hands to her waist and her hands traced his muscles until her arms were wrapped around his neck and his mouth was an inch from hers. Heat rose from his hands, from his body and transferred into hers. Her whole body was on fire. She brushed her lips across his gently and traced the edge with her tongue. His eyes glowed like embers in the dark and he pushed his body on hers against the wall claiming her mouth with his, kissing her passionately. As she came up for breath, he kissed her neck, and playfully bit her shoulder. A rush of ecstacy flooded her entire being. Her fingers gripped his hair as she melted into his embrace. His hands made their way underneath her shirt feeling her skin, drawing circle on her back. One hand made it down the back of her pants gripping her ass. Footsteps... voices... Mom! Tony! Oh, s**t. Tempest and Damien, quickly and reluctantly pulled away from eachother to a respectful distance, straightened their clothing, and fiddled with their hair. Tony and Cassandra entered the theater and looked at them staring at eachother awkwardly from six feet away, and Tony laughed. "She doesn't bite as far as I know Damien. Did you talk about anything while we were upstairs?" Damien shook his head and looked down, taking a deep breath to calm his spirit. Tony interpreted it as shyness. "Ahhh, well..." He said sympathetically, "You two will have plenty of time to get to know eachother cause she'll be working here for the summer too." Damien smirked and shot a glance at Tempest. Tempest processed the statement then and replied slightly awkwardly, "Oh, Thank you so much Tony!" "Don't mention it, I have a couple more things to go over with your mom, then we will go up to the office and discuss your schedule." Tempest dug her nails into the wall behind her, Damien did the same with the back of the seat he was leaning on. Yes, this summer was not what she had expected at all, and it was only the beginning.
