Rune saw the concern on her face and brushed away the serious tone "I can't say I'm surprised. You are breath-taking."
They walked on in silence for a bit. Across the grassy hills, towards the edge of the forrest. When they reached the edge of the trees he leaned up against a large oak tree and twirled her around bringing her to rest, back against him. He folded his arms around her waist and planted a kiss on her neck. That icey chill ran through her veins, along her arms, down her spine. She shivered with pleasure. A content growl entered the back of her mind that was answered by her own inner purring, as they settled down to watch the sunset.
She rested her hands on top of his, and looked up at him standing a head taller than her. His eyes glowed with an icey fire, reflecting the rainbow sky of the sunset before them. She could feel him getting hard, even through his clothes. He leaned down and his lips brushed hers gently, his heavy breathing told her he was using all his self control to keep from devouring her right then and there. She drank in the touch of his lips and melted into his embrace. When she turned her eyes back to the sunset he playfully nipped her earlobe and she giggled at the sensation. He gave her quick kisses along her neck, provoking an eruption of giggles as the icey chill shivers tickled her neck. Then Rune twirled her around to face him, her lips only an inch or so from his face. he stroked her cheek with one hand, pushing a strand of golden hair from her face. Tempest wrapped her arms around his neck and brushed her lips slowly across his lips enjoying the slow rushes of cold entering her veins and spreading throughout her body. Impatience grew inside Rune and he claimed her mouth with his. She drew his tongue into hers and sucked on it as he picked her up and held her up against the tree. She wrapped her legs around his waist deepening the kiss and grinding her hips into his.
He let out a low growl, turned still lifting her, and slowly lowered both of them onto the long grass near the foot of the tree. His body pressed against hers. He bit her lip and then sunk his teeth into her shoulder. Tempest moaned with pleasure. His eyes started to glaze over as he began to lose himself in her touch. The sun sunk lower and the shadows lengthened.
Something in the shadows of the trees caught Tempest eyes. An unearthly chill, came over her.
"Rune?" He was still high on lust. His eyes tried to focus on her.
"Yes, My Flame?" He saw the concerned expression and started to sober up.
"Did you bring any body guards with you?"
He quickly turned, taking a protective stance following her gaze. His hand pressed a small box on his belt with a button, that now had a small blinking light going off. "No, but they're not far." He responded quietly, reaching for a knife that was strapped to the back of his leg. His eyes were darting from one tree to the next. she followed his gaze and saw that, the eyes she had seen were not the only pair there.
"Get up slowly, do you see anything down the hill, or is it just in front of us?" She looked down the hill. Nothing seemed to be in the field. Just the forest.
"I think they're just in the woods." She responded. When she turned back she saw he had drawn two knives.
"My security are on their way. Take a deep breath, and run back towards the house. Don't look back. Go Now!" She darted in the direction they came, and the creatures moved forward with supernatural speed. She heard them moving, she heard the chaos behind her. She heard growling. She heard a body crash against the tree. She heard fire? She heard a rush of air and felt a cold breeze. But she kept looking forward, rushing toward the house.
She was drawing closer. It was not far now, and then from her left glowing eyes came darting forward. A dark form was upon her. It tackled her to the ground and pulled her arms behind her back. A gag was forced into her mouth. It grabbed her by the hair, and pulled her to her feet. Just as soon as she had been lifted,, another creature sped up, and tackled that one to the ground. Her arms free, Tempest pulled the gag out, and whirled around. To see Damien? He had tackled a dark humanoid form to the ground and was proceeded to pulverize it.
Beyond Damien for a split second she thought she saw a huge blue ice dragon. But dragons aren't real, at least not in this time line... but did the dark humanoid Damien was beating to a pulp have horns and a tail? Were Damien's eyes actually glowing red or was it the setting sun? were his veins in his arms and neck glowing too?
Damien got up and rushed over to her. He put his hand on her cheek, moving her hair checking her for injuries.
"Are you allright, My Queen?" she nodded, dumbfounded he kissed her forehead and held her close looking around for other attackers. His skin was burning hot. Her eyes were not playing tricks on her, his eyes were glowing, so were any exposed veins.
Rune appeared suddenly and unexpectedly. He growled at Damien, Charging forward.
"Get away from her you scum!"
Tempest pulled away and pushed Rune backwards.
"Calm Down! She shouted. " Rune looked hurt and confused. "She pointed to the body on the ground. "He was protecting me!"
"That doesn't make sense! He's one of them!" Rune yelled.
"One of Who?!?!"
