One perk of being your own boss is that you get to take a day off without having to answer to anyone. That's not the case for me.
My plan for today was to stay home and relax. But of course, things never go that smoothly.
Just as I was starting to settle in and relax, Dad called, claiming he needed something from the office.
He's always got the wrong timing. I’m convinced the man has some kind of radar for detecting when I’m finally in a good mood.
I sigh as I pull into my designated parking spot. With a deep breath, I grab my phone and laptop off the passenger seat and step out of the car, heading inside.
