CHAPTER 3

I woke up because of the sunlight hitting my face. I looked for my phone to check the time. It was 6:30 am in the morning. I got up and was about to fix it when I looked at the person next to me. My son is gone, he may have left our room. I went to the bathroom to do my morning routine. After taking a shower and getting dressed, I left the room to get some food to bring. I saw my son messing with my friends. Natalie saw me then I came here.

"Goodmorning mars this is your food we have already prepared." Nat said. "We?" I asked. "Yes, your son and I. He woke me up to cook for you, so I just followed what your naughty son said." he pinched Kylthon's cheek. "My baby is sweet. Don't worry, mom will bring you Jollibee later, but eat the cake that was also brought to me last night." My son nodded in response. "I'm heading now, maybe my boss can get ahead of me" I said goodbye to my friend.

Fastforward.....

While I'm here at the office I'm taking care of emails and papers for sir to sign. When I didn't notice that there was someone in front of me. Because when I raised my head, he was already bowing to me. I immediately pushed him due to panic.

"Sorry sir!" I bowed to apologize.

"I'm really sorry, sir, because I know you're there and you're surprised, sir."

I'm still bent over.

"It's fine, it's my fault tho." Mr. said Craeios while adjusting his clothes.

"I'm really sorry." I bowled again. I raise my head to face him.

"What do you need sir?" I asked him.

"I've been calling you but it seems your busy that you ignore my calls in the intercom. Get me lunch and get yours too. Don't stress yourself too much." He said and left in front of me.

Gosh! Why didn't I hear his call?! I just don't want to be satisfied with my job! It's hard. I quickly took my bag and walked to get lunch from sir.

Fastforward....

Knock... knock... knock...

"Sir?" I call

"Come in." answer on the other hand.

"Sir, this is your food." I put sir's food on the table.

I was fixing it when suddenly sir came. I tensed when he passed by my side. Lord, don't punish me like this. Sometimes because I'm so bad with my boss, I feel like I'm going to get fired anytime. He sat on the sofa in his office.

"Sure, sir, I'll go first. Eat well." I said as I stood up and was about to leave when he suddenly spoke again.

"Eat with me." He promised me politely.

"Ahh don't stop sir, I'll just be there at my table." I answered him. I'm nervous when I'm next to him.

"I said, eat with me. That's an order." Cold and hostile tone.

"O-okay sir, I'll just get my food from outside." I said. I just nodded and immediately left his office and quickly took my food. I entered his office and sat on the side. His office door is behind me and he is on the side.

We ate in silence, but he didn't speak, maybe what else I could say to him. I have put away what I ate as well as sir. While I was leaving, someone suddenly entered his office. When he turned around, it was his friends. I bowed to him, I was about to leave when suddenly one of sir's friends ordered me. I looked at him trying to smile.

"What is that, sir?" I asked. "Buy us lunch like you bought our boss." Crimson red eyes answered. "It's okay sir n-" I couldn't continue to say when suddenly sir spoke. "She is not your slave Traxicado go get your own food for yourself." Boss is angry. Why is he angry? He sings like that too. I was brought back to reality when he spoke again. "Go back to your work, Miss Rasetsu." He said I just bowed in response and left his office.

I sat at my desk and took care of emails and papers. While I was doing that, Nat suddenly called.

"Hello mars?" I answered the call. "M-mars..." she rasped. Nat's voice makes me nervous because he's not like this when nothing bad happens. "M-mars k-kylthon..." my eyes widened and my tears were about to fall. It immediately entered my mind that something bad had happened to my son. When sir J suddenly came out of the office room with his friend. Sir J looked at me and quickly approached me.

"S-si K-kylthon my son..." I cried because I was thinking please don't. "Shhh calm down, okay?" He calms me down. I looked at my cellphone to see a text from Nat.

From: Mars Nat

I'm sorry, I didn't mean that the gate was open so Kyle got out. Until now we are still looking for him. I'm really sorry mars huhuhu

I didn't reply to her text and Sir J saw it because I hadn't calmed down yet, he immediately took out my cell phone, read the text and I started crying. He looked at his friend at the same time.

"Find this child immediately and I want him before sunset." he ordered his friends to leave quickly.

"We will find your son don't worry okay? We will find him." he said. I just nodded in response because I wasn't in the right frame of mind.

"Let's go, I'll drive you home." He made me stand up and supported me to walk because I was still weak.

Fastforward.....

We got home and I quickly got out of the car without saying goodbye to my boss. When I entered the gate, my son immediately appeared to me and I quickly knelt down and hugged him.

"K-kylthon jusko, it's good they saw you, don't you know how worried I am about you and your godmothers?" I said with emphasis. "Sorry mom" he said bowing. I hugged it and I started crying. Boss's three friends got out of the car.

"We find him in the park, sitting on a swing while watching families bonding. Boss, we're leaving." Said the one with gray eyes. Sir J nodded. I looked at my son and waited for an answer.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to play outside and I saw some kids with mom and dad. I'm so jealous of them. Where's dad?" That strike me and chiver down my spine about what he said. I ignore what my son said, I just hugged him and carried him into the house.

My son fell asleep immediately because I picked him up and I didn't notice sir who was following me. Nat came out of the kitchen with tears still on her cheeks, she was about to speak when I stopped her, she immediately took Kylthon and brought her into our room. I looked at sir who was sitting on our sofa.

"I'm sorry sir and I didn't notice you anymore. Thank you for looking for my son." I said to him while slowly sitting in front of him.

"Can I ask a question? I know it's kinda personal but it's keeping me thinking of it." He said. I answered.

"Where is his father? I don't see him here living with you." he asked. I suddenly got nervous because of that and thought about his question.

"It's fine if you don't want to answer it." I immediately shook my head.

"Ahh, because I was drunk, sir, and I had a one night stand" and that's you, I would like to add, but I choose to stop. I'm still afraid that he will take our son.

"I see." After he said that, he immediately stood up.

"I'll get going, see you tomorrow." He promised smartly. I bowed and took him out. He got into his car and drove away.

I'm sorry sir but this is not the time to tell you about our son. Sorry, I can't tell you everything yet because I'm afraid of what will happen to us and you. I said in my mind.
