Few days later, Emily sat on the sofa in the room playing with Jeff. She and Evelyn were the only ones at home. Harry left for the company while Grandma and the two maids went to the Grocery store to shop for foodstuffs.
Evelyn was still looking for her diary. She didn’t confront Emily about it after the incident. She has been waiting for an opportunity like that to be alone at home with her so that they would finish what they started.
She entered the room and closed the door. Emily had her back turned to her and when she spoke, she ignored her.
“ Hi Jeff, My handsome grandson” She Waved at him. Emily Chuckled , she didn’t say anything again and kept on playing with her son.
