The lost Luna, and Her Broken King

This has to be a dream I think to myself, as I sprint to my bedroom to find my husband still missing, I pinch my arm and try to wake up but it's useless, this must be reality, but .... how?

"Shaz" I call " Shaz please tell me what going on, where are you why can't I feel you ??? " shaz responds " I am here Katie I can't feel you either, I can't sense mate or anyone for that matter, I don't know what's happening but I don't like it at all.. I feel weak settling in, it's worse inside the pack house but the further we get away from here the better I will feel.... i think" with that I jump up and pack a bag of essentials, toothbrush, hairbrush some warm clothes, it's winter after all, and I head for the door.

Shaz moans in pain but also of relief the further we get from the pack house, we walk for several hours south west of the territory, before finding somewhere to camp for the night, not long after I make a fire I hear a rustling in the bush behind me, Shaz immediately goes into defense mode.

"WHO IS THERE" I yell out in my loudest and strongest voice I can muster, " I can hear you, reveal yourself before I come in and drag you out myself".

just as I say this a young woman steps out of the bush, dressed in a tidy red and gold gown, her long black hair shines in the moonlight, the fire reflecting off her snow white skin, making her dark brown eyes look almost black. "I am here for you child" she says, " I am Eldara, and you are quite far away from home", I stare at her blankly" I havent traveled that far, I did not realise the area was claimed by witches, if I am tresspassing I do apologise, Though I have had a long day if my presence here is unwelcome I will put out my fire and move on, though I do not know where your lands begin and end so if it wouldnt be a bother i would ask you accompany me to the edge of the terriotory and I will be on my way" i straighten my posture and try to look as composed as possible while saying this, witches are tricky you see, they smell like herbs and not the good kind, if you show them an inch of weakness they will use it against you.... or so i have been told.

we stand here by the light of the fire for awhile, Eldara looks like she is lost in thought, contemplating what i have said.

"I feel like you have mistaken me child" says Eldara, " let me introduce myself properly, I am Queen Eldara of the Eldarian Province, I senced a darkness not far from here, something so wrong it made me shiver to the bones, and on my way here to investigate I happened apon you, the child of ledgend"

"WHAT" I yell and start laughing, this has got to be some sort of a prank, none of this can honestly be real can it. Eldara looks at me like i have grown a second head, which in turn makes me laugh more, "what in the goddesses name could be funny about your destiny" Eldara whispers under her breath, if not for my warewolf hearing i wouldnt have heard what she said.

" I think you must have me confused your Majesty, I dont know what Ledgend you speak of, Nor am I a child so if you wouldnt mind" i start to say before Eldara interupts me "Katie Everest, I know who and what you are, and I have waited a very long time to meet you, It seems like you have not been told everything about your liniage, which makes me wonder..... do you Katie, know who your ACTUAL father is ?" her question stumped me. "my father died before I was born, my mother raised me, she never spoke of my father, and i never pushed her on the matter, the thought of him was too painful for her to remember so i stopped asking".... then i realised something "how do you know my name, i never told you my name, are you reading my mind!?!"

Eldara finally cracks when she realises this girl has no idea who she is or how powerful she will truely become...." oh child" she says "all of this must seem like a horrible horrible joke to you, I am truely sorry you were kept in the dark your entire life, but now is the time to learn who you are and what your destiny is, i know you have no reason to trust me and i can tell by the way you're looking at me that all you want to do is kill me, but hear me out for a while and then make up your mind as to what you want to do, i will try and answer all your questions as they come" with that Eldara moves to sit by my fire while i stand there looking dumb struck, she looks back at me and motions for me to come over and sit with her. realising Shaz hasnt given her opinion in while i try to search my mind for her, but its like she has vanished so far into the darkness that i will not be able to find her "shaz... I dont know if you can hear me, but if you can i need you, i dont know if i can trust this woman, but I want to know more about myself.... about us, please come back to me, help me Shaz i need you" i let a silent tear fall down my face as all i recieve in responce to my plea is silence. i figured i have nothing to lose by hearing this woman out, but i also may never get this oppourtunity to learn about my father again, with my mind made up i take my seat and gesture for her to begin her story. ready to hear what ever it is she has to say, and hoping for some answers.
