CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO RISPAN The advantage to having that high, narrow window in the cell was that I could keep track of the days. When you’re stuck in a room with nothing to do, without at least that point of reference, time becomes practically irrelevant. Minutes could feel like hours and hours an eternity.
