Maezhei's target had always been the second female lead role. It was her manager who wanted her to play the lead role of this movie but she wanted to try a new role, the role of Krystal -- the second female lead.
For this role, she had been preparing for two months, working hard to understand Krystal's feelings and the impression she gave, in order to impress the judges at just one glance. And honestly, it was really hard understanding her character. Fortunately, she had succeeded before the audition.
Director Martin exclaimed after Maezhei left, "We tried so hard to find an actress that will suit for this role, and the moment we give up looking, she found us instead! And we found the perfect one! Even though she was a signed artist by Star Entertainment, her qualifications are very poor because she doesn't have a strong background, but I had never imagined that in just one glance, I could see Krystal in her.

The screenwriter couldn't suppress his excitement either, "Her most admirable qualities were her temperament and manners. Her gaze was absolutely perfect! Krystal was a domineering female character before she became a disastrous beauty that she is, and this girl perfectly captured this!"
"She can be seductive without being vulgar and can even maintain a sense of purity and detached intelligence. In the previous audition for the role, all of the artists that auditioned acted as though they were queen of brothel. They are so pretentious! I almost died of anger!" The assistant director was pissed, remembering those past auditions for the second female lead.
"Alright, alright, don't get worked up! Haven't we finally found the right person we've been waiting for?" Director Martin said.

After Maezhei and Kath returned from the audition, they freshened up before heading out for a hot pot celebration. They went to the supermarket and bought the ingredients and side dishes for a hot pot.
They wanted a hot pot celebration at home! They were used to do this back then abroad when celebrating. They prefer it in private. Just the two of them, they prefer it that way.
Right after they had started heating up the pot and finished preparing the dishes, Maezhei's phone rang.
Who was calling her at this hour? - she asked herself.
She went to her room to get her phone. Her brows furrowed when she saw an unknown number. She contemplated whether to answer it or not. This was her first time getting a call from an unknown number, so, for safety, she rejected the call.
She was about to go back to the living room when her phone started ringing again. And it's the same unknown number. Again, she rejected it.
"Who is calling you at this hour?" Kath asked.
Maezhei just shrugged her shoulders, "Unregistered number."
"Oh? Unregistered number? Did you answer it?"
"Nope." she answered. She was about to sit beside her friend when her phone started ringing for the third time but she just ignored it.
Gosh. Why is this person so persistent?
"Answer it. It might be important," Kath suggested.
Maezhei picked up her phone when it started ringing again and handed it to Kath, "You answer it."
Kath sighed, "Alright."
"Hello? Who's this?" Kath said when she answered the call.
[Who's this? Isn't this Maezhei Dayone's number?] An old man answered on the other line.
"Grandpa?" Kath glanced up at Maezhei.
"Katharina Rose, is that you?"
"Grandpa?"
"Yes, Katharina Rose, this is grandpa."
"Geez grandpa, don't call me by my full name!" she said in a disgusting way. She hates to be called by her full name!
She just heard a laugh on the other line.
Maezhei went closer to Kath after hearing that her Grandpa was the one on the other line. She almost forgot to call her Grandpa!
"...Okay, grandpa," Kath said while nodding, then she handed the phone to Maezhei.
"Handsome Grandpa?" Maezhei said right after the phone was handed to her.
"You brat! You have come back but you didn't even call me?" her grandpa complained on the other line.
"I'm sorry, handsome grandpa. I got busy right after I came back. I'll just visit you this week, okay?" she said guiltily.
"You better! Your old man misses you so much..." her grandpa sniffled.
"I miss you too, handsome grandpa. I promise, I'll visit you soon. So, stop crying already." she teased.
"Who's crying? I am not crying!" her grandpa said defensively.
"Yes, handsome grandpa, you're not." she chuckled.
"Where are you staying right now?" her grandpa asked.
"Royale Hotel," she answered.
"Why are you staying in a hotel? Why don't you just stay here in the old mansion? Or your condo? Don't tell me you forgot that you have one?"
The old mansion is her grandparents' mansion. It was the main mansion of the Dayone, while the condo was her grandpa's birthday present. She was abroad at that time so, she never used that condo. She even almost forgot that she has one!
"Oh yeah, I forgot," she laughed.
"Where is it again, grandpa?"
"ZD building, you come here tomorrow and get your key card!" he said frustratedly.

Late at night at Platinum Residence.
The large, cheerless living room was in chaos. The only sound you could hear was a glass shattering and a loud roar of a tiger.
Snowy ran around and broke more things.
All the people inside the house trembled in fear. There was a beast running around and breaking things! How can they not tremble?!
Zifan tried to coax and calm him down, but Snowy didn't stop. He was worried that Snowy might hurt other people, so he dismissed them all. Of course, he knows that Snowy won't hurt anyone unless Zake says so, but just in case, he can't control him.
They were just outside the room where Snowy was destroying things but they could see him through the clear glass door. And through that clear glass door, they could see how he broke things and it's been thirty minutes!
The room was a total mess.
Left with no choice, Zifan could only make a call to the company to ask his brother to comeback.
"Bro, emergency! It's about Little White!"
