After that long breakfast with the Deguzs brothers, Maezhei hurriedly left saying that she still needed to do some errands today, even though she had no schedule for today. But she needed to get her things in her condo and do some explaining to her friend. She's sure as hell that she would bombard her with questions so she should be ready for that.

And she's right! Because right after she enter their condo, she saw Kath casually sitting on the sofa while sipping on her mug.

"Explain," Kath immediately said, not even glancing at her. She's looking at the turned off TV in front of her.

Tsk. I knew it! She's waiting for me!

"Can I enter first, remove my shoes, wear my slippers, and sit on the sofa?" she said sarcastically, then rolled her eyes to her.

Kath stood up then went closer to her, then suddenly grabbed her wrist and forced her to sit on the sofa, "Now, tell me. How did you end up in the Platinum Residence? Did you really sleep with Zake Deguzs?"

Maezhei spasmed at her friend's choice of words.

"What are you talking about? What sleep with Zake Deguzs? I slept in their house, not with him!" she spat.

"And I called you last night, didn't I?"

Maezhei called her last night saying that she couldn't come home and that she was going to sleep at the Platinum Residence. But she didn't tell her everything. Because it's too troublesome given the fact that she is Katharina Rose.

"But I want the whole detail! Every little detail of it!" she said like a kid and even emphasizing the word 'whole'.

Maezhei heaved a sigh before looking at her, "Fine."

Kath immediately sat beside her. After she was seated, she started telling her about what happened yesterday, even the little details of it! Except, of course, on what happened in the hospital, because I know Zake didn't mean that proposal.

"What?! He asked you to live with him? Zake Deguzs? As in Zake the Great Deguzs?!"

"Hey, lower your voice! Someone might hear you..." she whispered.

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'm just... shocked."

"If you are shocked, what's more if you heard it from him? I almost fainted when he said those things!"

"So, you're going to move and live in the Platinum Residence?" Kath asked.

"Unfortunately," Maezhei sighed.

"Then what are you still doing here? Go and pack your things!" Kath pulled her hand to stand up.

"Why do you have to be so excited, as if you really wanted me to leave!" Maezhei complained while looking at her friend.

"Of course, I'm excited! I can finally bring boys home!"

"...."

"Katharina Rose Verlice, don't you dare!" Maezhei warned.

"I'm just kidding! You don't have to say my whole name!"

They walked into her room to pack some of her things. Of course, she's not going to bring all her things! She'll just stay there for three months!

"Alright, I know you're worried about me but you don't have to. I can handle myself, okay?" Kath said after seeing her gloomy face.

After packing some of her important things, Maezhei felt like her neck was about to break and her body was also breaking out. She has two suitcases! She was planning to bring just only one but Kath put so many things in her luggage! She said she would need one of those because of her upcoming movie, so she didn't argue with her.

"I feel like you really don't want me to comeback!" she complained.

"Stop whining and let's go. It's already three o'clock! We still need to eat before you go."

"Are you sure you don't want me to accompany you?" Kath asked for the nth time.

"Yes, I can handle myself just fine and, besides, you have to pick up your parents at the airport, right?"

Kath's parents called a while ago and said that they would arrive at five o'clock and it was already four!

"Fine. But how about you use the car? I can take a cab instead," Kath said.

They had only one car because Kath's car was in the repair shop and Maezhei insisted that she would just commute since she was not in a hurry, unlike Kath, who needed to pick up her parents at the airport.

"It's really okay. Now, get out of here because anytime soon Uncle and Auntie's plane will land. It's already 4:15!"

"Alright, I'm leaving first. Take care of yourself, okay? And text me if you have already arrived."

"Okay, okay! It's not as if I'm going abroad!" Maezhei said, laughing.

When Kath left, she also started arranging the things she would bring. She can't bring her big motorbike because of her luggage, so she needs to commute.

It was very convenient to take the subway because she didn't have to deal with the traffic jams, but the problem is her suitcases. So, she has no choice but to take a cab even if she has to deal with the traffic.

She was about to walk towards the waiting area for the taxis when a black Maserati pulled up beside her.

The car window rolled down, and Dylan smiled at her.

"Maezhei, where are you going? I will take you there."

Maezhei looked at him expressionlessly, "No thanks." Then she walked away directly, as she didn't want to see his disgusting face.

What's with this guy? Acting normally as if we're okay. First, Silica, then now him? They really suit each other. I'm not bitter, okay? I just don't want to see his face. It irritates me! And I don't want to involve myself with him ever again!

However, Dylan refused to leave and drove slowly after her. "Zhei, can we talk?"

Maezhei sneered, "What is there to talk about? Go away! And will you stop calling me Zhei? We're not that close for you to call me that... nickname!"

Maezhei looked around and she saw that people were looking at them. His Maserati was grabbing people's attention! Plus, he's freaking the heir of the Chen Corporation and his girlfriend is an actress! Silica is a famous celebrity! So, of course, if they saw him with her, then it's over! Damn it.

Dylan frowned, a little unused to these cold words and attitude from a girl who before had listened to and done everything he said. "Maezhei, you still didn't forgive us? It's been five years and I do have something important to talk to you about!"

Maezhei was afraid they really would be photographed if she continued tangling with him on the street.

This guy's car was too eye-catching!

Maezhei looked left and right to make sure there was no media around, then quickly opened the door and got in the car. She doesn't want to be entangled with him and this will be the last time!

Half an hour later, in a room at some Restaurant.

Dylan called the waiter over and ordered a number of dishes, most of which were Maezhei's favorites. "Maezhei, I haven't seen you in a long time so I am not sure if you change your favorite foods, but I still order it for you. How have you been all these years overseas? I texted you many times but you're not, replying to any of my messages and in the end you changed your phone number---"

Maezhei cut him off.

"I am not here to say hello and reminisce about the past. I'll give you ten minutes to say what you're going to say. Now, speak." she said without any trace of emotion on her face.

Maezhei put her hand against her head and buried herself so that she can text Zake, letting him know that she would be a little late.

[Maezhei: Mr. Deguzs, I'll be late. Something came up.]

Then she hit the send button.
