I feel like I’m in some sort of haze, and I don’t know what’s going on around me. I can hear banging and yelling on the other side of the door, but I don’t know why. Not anymore, not when my mate is standing in front of me in nothing but her underwear. I tried to stop her, I think, but how can I stop her when she’s like this? When she gets on the desk and starts to crawl towards me I’m completely and utterly lost to her. I want her, like I’ve never wanted anything before. But before she can reach me she’s yanked back and I see my mother holding on to her. Traitor.
