I step outside my office and almost bang my head on the wall but I’m afraid she’ll hear me if I do that. I shouldn’t have pushed her but f***k if I didn’t want to scream in delight when she lifted her head so I could kiss her better.
“You should have done more than kiss her neck.”
“I’m not going to push her into doing something she isn’t ready for.”
“I didn’t mean that, I meant mark her. She liked what you were doing, she moved her head for you.”
“To kiss her not mark her you mangy mutt, she hates us enough as it is can you even imagine what she would have done if I marked her without her consent?”
“Diane wouldn’t have minded, I know she wouldn’t have.”
“Only her human counterpart, so what the heck right?”
“She would have come around.”
“I’m done speaking to you now.”
