Lucy POV I roll over and look at my alarm clock, groaning when I see it reads four in the morning. I didn’t have to be up for another hour but I suppose the excitement and anxiety of the day permeated my sleep. It’s been nice having this party to look forward to, mostly it’s been nice having something to keep me busy and keep my mind off of shape-shifting enemies that apparently only Diana can sense. I get up, get ready, and head to the kitchen for all of the last-minute touches that will need to happen for the day. I finally have everything out and ready, covering almost every square inch of available counter space.
